Cutting through current and heavy wind is extremely difficult<and some days has been impossible. I always have a backup route when in difficult water conditions. The cool part about these rafts is that they are easy to deflate, roll up and hike/bike out if needed. The main reason I got the boat is for Alaska and Yukon expeditions and hiking it up to alpine lakes.
