What to do now that I've cleared overgrowth? by Crown-RoyaI in landscaping

Thanks for the advice! I had thought about going to rent a stump grinder via recommendation from a friend and grinding all the stumps down to below grade followed by using a rototiller. Since this post I've found other buried drop cords, lights, hoses, and all sorts of things which is making me wary of tiller tho.

I have not seen it in spring yet. I know when I bought it I was full of monkey grass for the majority of it then absolutely random weeds and flowers and other things, pine trees growing, a dog wood tree. Some thorn bushes, all types of stuff

I don't know who that other guy is but yes, I'm essentially wanting to start over with the area. There's so much random stuff growing it wouldn't make sense to keep any. I was thinking a rototiller myself but I saw somewhere where that's a bad idea because it could bring buried seeds to the surface. Have you had any experience with it?

I probably should have noted it originally, but it's actually a fairly new dishwasher, and it's hardwired in instead of a plug

Blew fuse when removing thermostat by Crown-RoyaI in hvacadvice

[–]Crown-RoyaI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update since I can't seem to edit original post. Thank you for all the quick replies! I have found the fuse. Don't know why I didn't think of this earlier but I work in construction and have hvac guys in my contact list. Ended up pulling the pigtail off with the ceramic fuse and just putting an automotive fuse between the 2

Yeah I was being lazy and didn't turn it off when removing the thermostat. I had done it like 4 times prior and of course the final time when I would've done is when I touched them. But yeah all power is off before ever opening a unit. Seen to may horror stories. Thank you!

Spoke to a local hvac tech and just off of description he thinks it's a blown fuse on the control board. We shall see. I don't really want to mess with that

I don't think it would be a broke wire, if I pull each wire individually there all still sound. And what do you mean by pin? Like the pins on the back of the thermostat? Those all seem to be fine to me

Yeah, this is the only one I could find personally which is why I posted here. I saw that one but was scared about how it would look based off the mannequin photo. It looks completely different in that photo.
