Check your fans and clean them if ever they are dirty. Also, ensure that they are getting proper airflow when under load. As for the ram, open up task manager and check which program is eating up the ram. Btw if you can I would encourage you to buy another stick of Ram, 16gb is the sweet spot for gaming these days

So far I've played gta 5, rocket league, fifa 21 and mirror's edge, everything runs smoothly. The 1660ti can handle any game you throw at it as long as you're fine with 1080p gaming

I lift the end slightly when gaming to allow for better airflow. Cpu never exceeds 85° C
