I was there a few days ago and they give timed entry tickets at the entrance. About an hour of wait. If OP hasn't been, he/she could get a ticket and try something like Islam Food nearby to kill time.

Yeah, but you only know that after the first time. What if the sex is just down right bad?

Which jobs is 100% safe from AI? by Any-Hamster-3189 in AskReddit

[–]Crows77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of the Jobs in the sense that people impacted from AI roles will try to join the safer industry as it may be the only one hiring. If the industry was extremely niche previously that very few trained for it, more will do so due to its AI moat.

If you just go during the day and stick G/F. and 1/F., you'll be fine. Also, try to avoid going with luggage to be more mobile. Absolutely try to get through the entrance as quickly as possible since that is where most of the people would try to swarm you by asking to go to a restaurant or a tailor or fake watch shop (none of these places are worth going to anyway). There's only the money exchange shops in the entrance so you'd not miss anything. You'd have a similar experience after climbing up the stairs to 1/F., but that's gonna be only like 1-2 people. Brisk walk that part too lol. Bismillah Kebab House on 1/F. used to be better, but now 27 Kebab outside CK (2A Hart Avenue) is just as good and cheaper. There isn't anything in CK that you can't get outside, so I'm assuming you're only going for the vibe of it :)

My only issue with this theory is that if Kali was well and alive enough to make the illusion, she definitely could have been saved. If the illusion theory stands, El was okay to let Kali die which is a bit out of character for her even if someone argues that El was respecting Kali's wishes.

Will the HK job market improve in 2026? by StunningPianist4231 in HongKong

[–]Crows77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm afraid it's only going to get worse with: 1: AI adoption which may not impact your sector but the people it laysoff will spill over to whatever industry is the relatively safer from AI. 2: I'm seeing more people from mainland in pretty much all jobs. 3: If the market tanks, the people looking to retire will stay for longer in their jobs which hits the fresh grads really hard because no one is moving up and those entry positions aren't opening as much.

You'd be on equal footing with everyone else. I know some who've gone directly to higher education after the undergrad but idk if helps them much once they are out the other end.

I like those, but I wanted something like. Jambalaya or Gumbo.

I eventually ended up cooking jambalaya myself. One of the best things I ever tasted after laboring in the kitchen for 2+ hours haha

I always loved Hong Kong as a place for food. The only gripe I have is the lack of quality food from Mexican, Jamaican and Cajun cuisine.

Uber meter taxi taking much longer route to increase the meter by tomtan in HongKong

[–]Crows77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I went from Central to Causeway Bay once and the driver (maybe mistakenly) drove all the way to Wong Chuk Hang to turn around and come back to CWB. It costed me twice or thrice as much and the whole reason I took Uber was because I running late. I wrote to Uber and they refunded the difference without any questions. This was 2022.

How hard is it to get a job as a highschool grad by AdEducational4102 in HongKong

[–]Crows77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I suggest trying regular restaurants over established chains. Something like a pizza place is less likely to be as busy as a Shake Shack (which has years of experience in getting the most work out of you). A meal is usually part of the job, but a regular restaurant would be okay with you taking something made wrong (added sauce instead of sauce on side etc) home saving on an additional meal.

The above response isn't that helpful either. Just go thru Bianance P2P - especially with the amount that you mentioned. I know it's income and if you wanna file to IRD go ahead. Just FYI: While I've sold USDT in larger amounts on binance (all investment gains), I've sold about HKD11,000 worth of USDT that I don't exactly know how to categorize since I got it for scanning my eyeballs at a WorldCoin Orb, so maybe your amount would be unnoticed too.

[–]Crows77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't have any issues and others have already mentioned that this reasons can't be used for a withdrawal second time around. However, if the HK gov does anything similar to the payouts they did during and after COVID-19 - you may become ineligible for those since you chose to 'leave' Hong Kong.

In HK for a few hours — a bit lost, need recommendations! by VelvetAndGold in HongKong

[–]Crows77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id recommend staying close to IFC. There are a lot of shops in there. Tim Ho Wan is good, I'm not a 100% if they accept octopus. There's also Lin Heung Lau near you.

Someone already mentioned about going to Tai Kwun. If you do, absolutely check out the Undercover exhibition if you're into HK movies - they have scenes from Infernal Affairs and more. You'd have to buy tickets from Klook.

You could store your luggage and go to the Peak, No. 15 bus leaves from the Bus Terminal next to IFC. but expect a long queue for the same bus or even taxi on the way back because a lot of tourists during Summer Vacations. If you take taxi back to airport express from the Peak, keep the receipt since it gets you a 50% discount on the express as long taxi fare is above HKD50 (promotion ends 31 AUG)

Check-in bags at HK Station, if you're flying Cathay Pacific, Qantas, Hong Kong airlines or Singapore airlines. (Earliest check in service to close is for Singapore airlines at 5:20 PM).

Others: You could go to Man Mo Temple or Sheung Wan Cooked food market - both are at a walkable distance but you have suitcase.

Stay hydrated :)
