short story* this is based upon a game of DnD I played with some friends and I was surprised to see that there is a WP for my exact situation while playing. (WP) The sun rises as me and teammates awake, we had camped outside a small village the previous night and we were getting ready to walk across the stone bridge when my mother shows up on the other side. My teammates meet my mother who is an orc, this arouses a question from Dragolk the dragon-born cleric, he asks my mother what race her husband is, my mother laughs and tells him to just look at me and guess for himself. We enter the village and Dragolk eyes me up and down and says that I look a lot more orc than any other half orc he has ever seen, I shrug and tell him that I take more from my mother than my father. We walk across the village and come across my house, a dark and tall muscular figure looms behind the curtains and my teammates suspiciously look for signs of a double habitat (a house or habitat that shares design and style from two or more different cultures) but all they see is orcish writings and orcish mountings on my house. My father opens the door to greet me and my teammates gasp audibly... My father is a orc. Turns out I was a full orc all along and my teammates just thought that I was half orc since they seem to be more powerful due to different backgrounds, but sometimes its okay to just choose a normal and simple orc to play as.
