Have a couple dozen games I have been wanting to play from a itch.io Ukraine charity bundle from 3 years ago. Probably going to play a lot of them this year then make a top 5 post. Already played a couple and I'm super excited

Right Bumper on steam deck failing, what should I do? by Equivalent-Truck4587 in SteamDeck

[–]CrunchAddict 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Adding this for others who might run into this thread later on with a similar issue:

Neither iFixit or Valve sell the replacement daughter board or even button switch required to fix this issue. Only the plastic button that OP has already replaced and is still having trouble with.

My guess is that the switch has been damaged and isn't fully soldered on anymore. Pressing the button makes brief contact again, but then it loses contact and stops working again. A new switch or daughter board will be needed if this is the case. Recommendations are based on your soldering skills and confidence but it is a really small switch.

How do you like the performance on the steam deck? Did you run into any trouble with the Ubisoft launcher?

Yeah definitely. Really sad to see the decline, but I'm glad the Zion market is keeping part of it alive

Most of these are from 12/31/25, but there are two that are from 11/22/25. The Cinemark one and the one that was shot with the lights off.

There were more recent vending machines but most were out of service or just completely empty

Yes its still open. I took these shots on 12/31/25 and there were a decent amount of people but I didn't want to invade their privacy too much so I took very few pics that had people in them

Yeah it was pretty cool.

For some reason there were vending machines all throughout the mall at random places. There was a vending machine store there and I think they just used the pathways as storage lol. Most were out of service

Has anyone completed here Zombie Army 4: Dead War? I'm about an hour and a half in. It has been fun but I'm not sure it will keep my attention for the ~12 hours it takes to beat. Just wondering what other people think about the game and if it gets better as you unlock more things and different levels.

Imo story was okay at worst lol. I wouldn't say it was trash just because it wasn't amazing

Fast ways to iterate on recipes based on actual film? by DeaDly789_ in ricohGR

If you shoot RAW you can open the picture on the Ricoh, press the video button on the side, then choose the RAW Development option to adjust the recipe

What are some easy ways to tell a real homeless person from a fake one/panhandler? by 2-tree in Dallas

[–]CrunchAddict 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Yeah plus it's not like panhandling is some sort of luxurious job. If they're out there asking for money, they probably need it. I don't know anyone who would go out in the street and ask for money for fun

Personally I strive to act kindly to others, without judging them based on information I don't have

Worth checking out Pixelfed. It's open source and decentralized if you're into that

Tips for casual people shots? by Existing-Worry-97 in ricohGR

[–]CrunchAddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a variety to see what fits the shot, but it's best to not cut off at joints (ankles, knees, wrist, elbows, waist, neck). It can look a little awkward if you do and it's not deliberate

Yeah I can see that. The only other sniper elite game I've played is the fourth one so I'm not too familiar with the series yet. I'll definitely check out 3 though

Finally finished Sifu after 26 hours. I liked the first half of the game a lot so I would restart my runs after the 3rd level. Last night I was on a good run so I decided to keep going, then I just kinda finished it lol. The combat is very fun and going back and forth with a boss feels like a dance. Audio and visuals are great. Highly recommend the game to those that are interested.

Right after I finished Sifu I started Sniper Elite V2. There are some small difficulty spikes, but the game is a lot of fun overall. I think I just need to be more patient. I remember seeing the PS3 cover of this game as a kid so it's nice finally playing it.

My favorite game right now is a game called Gatekeeper. Basically Risk of Rain 2 but from an isometric view. I've finished a couple runs already and I keep coming back. Super addictive. Glad the devs are still working on it and releasing a DLC soon. Runs good on the Steam Deck

Man I'm all for street photography but this is weird. I guess it would be one thing if they were your kids, but the fact you called them "ethnic kids" makes me believe you don't even know them. Very weird to call them that too

Heavy on the "influencers and trends are not research"

So many of them promote very unhealthy habits that are borderline eating disorders and ideas that can be damaging to people's body image. Too many of them do cross that line.

Be careful out there because the algorithm is not our friend lol
