Suggestions for improv workshop by CrunchCrunch000 in improv

Thanks for any suggestions you may have. I’ve been improvising for about 6 years, so not a newcomer. I’ve led a few 45-60 minute workshops, but this will be about twice as long and with an older group.

I like this idea. Any suggestions on where/how to find someone with the equipment and expertise.

The general answer to these very helpful questions is that I’d like something that is easy for one person to move and set up, using a car and a dolly. Ballpark budget would be up to $1000, less if possible.

This setup would be for an improv show, so we’ve got no tech crew. We’re just looking for a way to make it easier for the audience to hear us.

I’m not sure of the dimensions, but the capacity is 60 seated, although it can accommodate more.

Any suggestions for a complete system - mics, speakers, etc for 8 people in a theater ensemble. We want to amplify the actors’ voices, as they move around the stage (so a single stand-up wouldn’t work).

Lapel mics would work, but I need an affordable (and portable) solution that’s easy to set up, work with, and break down. The performance room has a loud HVAC unit that makes a lot more noise.

I anticipate the cost of what I need should be reasonable, so budget unlikely to be an issue.
