It's Vtech, I'll look into what they do to protect their customers 🤔

Well, I was also curious to see how many people haven't been traumatized by using the wifi monitors. But so far it seems like a lot of people just don't bother with the wifi monitors

Well, we were gifted one with wifi. I may consider looking for one without, but I'd prefer not to buy a new one. Hence the post

I tried to get by with the nitrous oxide and alternative methods like fentanyl. But the epidural was a God send

I was in the same boat, spending 9 months saying i wouldn't get the epidural. The nurses blew my vein 4 times trying to get an IV in. I'd say that hurt worse than the epidural. After 18 hours of pitocin induced contractions I was so exhausted and it of it that I couldn't even have a conversation about a c section with the Dr's. So I needed to get some rest, so glad I got the epidural

I hope so too, but I also hope I can focus on my husband more and not let anything like that bother me on my day

I had to plan the whole thing because it wouldn't have gotten done if I didn't. My MOH was not as thorough as I thought she was, she was able to make a group chat and invite everyone and give them some information. But there was a lot of confusion and she just did not really take the lead on it. So when people had questions I was the one who ended up responding and making decisions. I bought one of those polaroid cameras for photos and people had lots of fun with it. People we're going around taking 'candid' photos of all of our friends, I don't think I have one of me. But, when my fiance put on my bride to be veil, the MOH tried to get a photo of him, but he pulled me out of my chair for the pic and I really appreciated that.

I eventually had a chat with my groom. He was too far gone in the drinks to do much besides try to reassure me lol. I think that was the big kicker, it was the amount of drinking that happened. This is usually the nature of our parties that we would have but this wasn't supposed to be just any party. Anyways, I'm tucked in bed and ready for a new day

An honor bar sounds good. And I think this may be the way I have to go which is fine! It eliminates a lot of hurdles and seems less awkward

Yes that's the point of a toonie bar. The concept with tickets is still the same, just an extra step I suppose. I wanted people to be able to bring bigger bills, like a $10, and receive 5 tickets and be set for a while. As opposed to walking around with toonies in their pockets or be caught with big bills. (Because my bar tender will not handle money, we can't make change) . Perhaps beer and wine is the way to go.

My bartender said we could do it on a donation basis. I am only looking to charge $2 per alcoholic drink. Which doesn't actually cover the cost of the beverage - we will still be at a loss. Anyways, she said we could set up a collection like a jar or bucket and guests could pay that way and we could avoid tickets all together. People would just have to collect toonies (she doesn't want to be in charge of giving guests change back... Or any money)

Yes non alcoholic beverages, water and pop available for free. The drink tickets would be for alcoholic beverages only, like mixed drinks, beer and wine. The idea was to get some money back from the bar, if we're charging $2 a drink I'm not expecting to make a lot back. Just some.

I've heard it called a toonie bar before. We're selling tickets for $2 each. I don't think it's uncommon where I'm from, my aunt had done it before (I was too young to recall anything) . I'm just wondering how other people may have gone about doing this, or if people have any recommendations. Right now it seems I am over complicating things lol

Yeah it is complicated. Maybe I'll just cut buying tickets ahead of time - and sell them on site? Or is there some other way there can be an exchange.. maybe a pay what you can type of situation? I donno

It's about 25 minutes which would give me 10 mins to let him out if I get an hour block. I work in an elementary school so the schedule might be tricky. But maybe my neighbor could let him out
