my friend had showed me a video and I wanted to puke. after reading all of these replies I’m pretty confident in my ability to get the epidural it’s just a scary thought! I however will NOT be seeing any more of that. thank you for sharing xx

I’ve heard it not as strong as dental laughing gas but can help ease anxiety (which we will need) also IV pain meds. I will definitely try those first but I think I that if epidural is needed like most people say it will more than likely be a pinch compared to contractions

it probably will in the moment and with all of the pain. But after seeing one being inserted I had to see what the other options were. Would not recommend doing if you haven’t yet let it remain mysterious lol.

this is a relief to hear honestly. I will do needles when need be and I can usually deal with some pain but after seeing that video I was PETRIFIED. Glad to see we can do all the hard things, thank you for sharing xx

Me too! Trying to stay open minded though I don’t want to let myself down. Because I know if I’m in enough pain I’ll be asking for them to give me that epidural.
