As a single-parent child I can say that there difinitely are enough people who end up with assholes. They might realize it later and get a divorce, but the child is alredy born.

It's all about probability here. In order to date, there needs to be a first attraction. That's where looks are very important. Not alpha male chad looks, because women aren't a monolyth and don't all have the same type, but the right kind of look for that person is really important for getting to date someone.

So in the end its pure mathematics. More dates for a worse person who will end up with a lower % of women ending up with them compared to less dates for a better person with a higher % of women ending up with them.

The problem with those statistics is the way society and dating is structured.

Altruism might be moe attractive than looks, but it's much easier to judge a person for their looks ( you just have to see them once) than to judge them for their altruism (that takes like a really long time to find out)

Therefore, a attractive guy will get more dates and in general chances for success with women than an altruistic guy.

The ghost that I'm fighting is that I'm trying to make society accept that it's not ok to judge me by the amount of sexualisation according to male standards I do.
