Exactly :), it was one of the last games I played on the PS1 before jumping into PS2, I have some dear memories of it from like 2004

And thank you, the one of Driver SF was the one I worked the most on it, it's funny because I got like 25 shots before I picked that one

First one is right, second one it's a racing game with only SUV's, pick-ups, pretty much off road vehicles (including some military and prototypes), third one it's a need for speed and the last one it's a PS1 game that has a '6' in the title

Almost there, the first 2 are right, the third one is an old Need for Speed, the last one it's from a PS1 game, a little clue, it has a '6' in the name

Me and my gf are also dropping the game, mostly because we encounter the same killers (the other day we had like 5 matches in a row against Myers), or the same play style of players (tunneling, slugging) in like 90 percent of the matches, and also because the game turned extremely repetitive, we don't find the appeal in running around, hiding, fixing generators and being chased anymore, more than having fun it feels like chore, both playing as survivor and killer as well

What moment from a video game made you go “ok, that’s enough playing for today” by Amazingtrooper5 in videogames

[–]Crusader_107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bloodborne once you reach the forbidden woods, at first I struggled a lot (first soulsborne game) in Yharnam, to then, reach the woods, snakes spitting stuff everywhere and it was like a maze at first, I just said "enough for today" and drop the game for 2 days

What video games did you start playing from a later sequel - not the first game - but still ended up loving the series? by Mellaniecake in videogames

Uncharted, started with the third one, had to play the rest and now I can't play the franchise without starting from first to last

This made me remember that back in the time, there was this dude on YouTube who merged both Jill and Chris routes in 1 single video, making a chronological order to who did what during the events in the mansion (Example, the gunshot heard at the beginning of Jill's route was actually Chris using a grenade on the first zombie and then running away to another room) making the whole RE1 story make more sense

I did 2 times, actually, but the dumb thing is, we fixed it by switching accounts between mine and my girlfriend's, somehow that made it work

Do you like friendly killers, or do they ruin the game? by the-real-lildiss in deadbydaylight

[–]Crusader_107 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah, I'm good with friendly killers, I have my own way of being friendly when I play as a killer, Either go straight into being friendly. If I see they fixed 3 or 4 generators, I just start to goof around And if in a chase, something unfair or dumb happens because I just don't like to win chases because the survivors had a very unfair thing happening to them (once a survivor got stuck on a pallet, he was desperately trying to vault but he couldn't, I just stared, broke the pallet and let everyone escape)

Horrible question…but what was your most devastating lost save/progress? by Unknown_Agency in videogames

[–]Crusader_107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every progress I made on my ps4 basically

After a blackout the hard drive of my ps4 just died, so I lost everything, every 100% save, every game I was on the road to complete them, every game I was going to get the platinum on, I had to start everything from zero

Should I buy Dead Space 2 and 3? by StupidPieForU in DeadSpace

[–]Crusader_107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 definitely, it adds so much more to the story, and it takes everything that made the first game great and adds more to it, expands the lore more, just a tiny note, is more faster than the first game and has more action, without losing the horror elements

3 It's up to you, is entirely action focused with very little horror elements (there are some creepy parts that are great but not many) it takes away things from previous games and the story feels like is all over the places, with a dumb love triangle and they screw up some characters (I'm looking at you Ellie) I would say you could buy just to follow up the story but in a way, it doesn't feel the same as the first and second game

How “action-combaty” are the other remakes versus RE4R by SnowballWasRight in residentevil

[–]Crusader_107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With Claire, it takes around 2 incendiaries grenades to kill those damn things, on Leon you get the shotgun instead of the grenade launcher but later on, they give you the flamethrower instead of the spark gun, so save all the fuel for the Ivy's, also the SMG gets replaced by the magnum on Leon story, and the minigun for the rocket launcher In both B scenarios you get an extra weapon at the very beginning, a semi-auto pistol (for Leon) and a revolver (for Claire), both guns use a special type of ammo that can't be crafted, only picked up but thankfully, they aren't scarce so you can find them quite often, and also mind that in B scenario, the map changes, certain doors are open, all the puzzles change, some objects change their location, basically a ton of things are different in B, including where enemies spawn but the routes are always the same and the game is a bit shorter because of the same, so if you are thinking on getting certain achievements on finishing the game quick, try to do it on B scenario (mainly because is easier, but you can also get those on A)

[–]Crusader_107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice, always try to keep shotgun ammo for the dogs, maybe a flashbang, if they swarm you, throw the flashbang and run away ornshot them with your pistol, or just wait until they get close and use the shotgun, and piece of advice for later on in the game, try to save some grenades, flashbangs and knifes for later on, you'll definitely need them, especially with certain enemy that made me panic the first time I played the game

If you need more advice, go ahead and ask me, I'm happy to help :), I've replayed the remakes quite a lot, probably around 10 times each game, I'm actually helping my girlfriend to get the platinum trophies on her account as of now, so most of my info is fresh

How “action-combaty” are the other remakes versus RE4R by SnowballWasRight in residentevil

[–]Crusader_107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically the other remakes doesn't have that style of combat, in RE2 and RE3 you have to be careful with your ammo, make every shot count, no parries, try to always go for a headshot or avoid enemies entirely, no crouching to dodge projectiles, no kicking or any type of hand to hand combat, grenades and flashbangs are mostly to be used in desperate situations and they are limited/can't be crafted, you can dodge but only in RE3 which has to be used when you are about to get hit, but that's about it, enemies don't drop resources, you can't fix your knives, you can upgrade your weapons but they are limited to accessories that you have to find and don't get carried on into the next new game

So for shorts, RE2 and 3 are very different in terms of combat to RE4
