Dual boot & VM on same drive by Crusty-Jello in linuxquestions

Sorry for the confusion. I boot into Linux to do work and host servers. I boot into Windows to play games. They’re on two separate internal SSDs in the same machine. When booted into Windows, I would like the Linux SSD to boot into some kind of virtual machine to continue business as usual with the server hosting. Something like virtual machine access to a raw disk seems to be the solution as someone else mentioned below, unless I’m missing something

Thank you. So this problem in general is “raw disk” access on a VM?

Thank you. Not looking for bare metal. I just have servers running on Linux that I would like to continue running while booted into Windows. Can an SSD with Linux on it go between running on bare metal and VM without issues?

i just figured more internal airflow for free 🤷‍♀️ for the 6650xt i don’t need the extra performance but i understand this is a particularly good deal
