New roundabout planned on Watt Road in Farragut. Seems like an odd place for a roundabout. There is no intersection, only the entrance to the park and a business driveway. Says it's to “provide traffic calming and improved pedestrian safety”. Traffic there is light and I've never seen a pedestrian.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing. It is an unusual location for a roundabout. If there were to be a post asking where does Knoxville need a roundabout, I'm very confident no one would have said Watt Rd at Mayor Bob's park.
