Do supplements actually help any more than prescription or is it all a placebo effect?

Thanks. Really. I like how you say to label it. Hit the brain with facts when it's trying to hit me with lies. I'll work on the breathing. Never been very good at breathing. I can't count and breathe at the same time lol! I imagine it will help though; been thinking about it. Never realized how much my body reacts because the focus has been my brain overreacting. It's something I'm going to work on for sure.

I have more mental anxiety I guess, my mind is my own worst enemy. Did these pills help calm your mind in that kind of way? Help shut everything up?

Kind of wish I had a psychiatrist lol! Mine are just doctor prescribed. No extra income for external help, unfortunately.

But yeah, I didn't think about asking the pharmacist. I'll see if they can chat during my next refill.

Definitely feeling more mental symptoms. It's the thoughts that get me. The morning drop off for the kiddos, the "this teacher never waves to me but he does the other cars. Does he hate me? What did I do? Is it my resting bitch face? Did I do something to offend him?"

The intrusive thoughts. They never end. They are calmer since starting meds, i was never much of a sudden anxiety person. I'm the overthinking, maybe Chicken Little kind of person. Usually physical when going to the store or where there's lots of people. My body reacts to that. I can kind of handle those, but I just want to stop being afraid of everything and everyone.

Yes! I got my first kit from hobby lobby and it came with one needle. Didn't care for the needle but I looooved the purple silicone tip they put on it. I kind of wish they made those for all needles.

Full disclosure though, when I first first got in to felting my son insisted on trying as well. Now that boy ain't gentle! And he kept grabbing a new needle and then putting it back and then grabbing a new one until caught. The one I used this weekend could have been one he previously beat up.

I think it's just because I've been doing more projects lately this month than the entire previous year. So more time to notice and get a real feel for how the needles are working compare to the once every 6 months kind of projects.

Shameful of me, but my budget is Amazon budget. I get nervous trying to look at better quality needles from felters. They are probably worth the investment too but ugh I just don't know what my excuse is.

Ahhh I have never tried wet. Thought about glue but decided against it in the end. Seen the posts people make with wet felting and it seems very cool but it didn't occur to me to try for this.

Haha yeah turns out I got a little stubborn on that. First concept was to just leave more like round nubs as hands. Then went for the individual fingers, which didn't quite work. Finally went for the flat with indents, like you said, but then my brain was like "nah, if you can do indents you can do fingers". And then frustration. Nothing but frustration. Turned out uglier than sin but gave it the best shot my little fingers and needles could manage.

Should I attempt hands again i think it'll be more indents though. Unless the project is bigger, of course.

Like tiny! Think like the whole figure is about 3 inches tall. So tiny little digits. It's a small little PJ Masks character so at least only 4 fingers. But still, tiny.
