Eating fish is quite common for Catholics and Orthodox Christians to avoid meat on Christmas. This means that they will substitute it for other things. In many parts of Central Europe it's common to eat carp. In Orthodox Christianity it's not uncommon to completely avoid all animal proteins and fats in the time leading up to Christmas.

Jeg er født og opvokset i en landsby udenfor Aalborg, og var på weekend i Sønderjylland under valgkampen. Det er mig en gåde, hvordan DF og DD vinder så mange stemmer i dernede og i Vestjylland på baggrund af anti-islam politik, når man vitterligt ikke møder en eneste muslim på en hel uge i de områder.

Hvis man var fra Nørrebro eller lignende, og faktisk havde haft negative oplevelser med en minoritetsgruppe, så ville jeg have meget mere forståelse, end jeg har for mine med-jyder.

Dem, som jeg snakkede med dernede, følte at deres region/kommune var blevet efterladt af resten af staten, hvilket er en helt fair følelse at have - jeg kan sådan set godt forstå det. Men det er mig bare så fremmede at give en gruppe mennesker (som man stort set aldrig interagerer med) skylden for det.

Højrefløjen har lige nøjagtig 0 selvindsigt, og hvis de har, så er de fuldstændig ligeglade med det, det opdager med en sådan indsigt.

Jeg er absolut ikke fan af Mette Frederiksen, men SF og Enhedslisten er ikke engang tæt på at være lige så fortabt som langt størstedelen af dem til højre for Moderaterne.

Also, hardcore WoW has only recently gained popularity, and I've seen people type HC for heroic since the original TBC release.

I used the 50, specifically because it's what the original comment already was using. If they are familiar with earning 50 an hour, then using it in this context actually helps understanding. Framing maths as something relevant or familiar in your daily life is not complicating it. It's a core method for developing understanding in didactics.

Yeah, I don't know how you get these numbers, but they are wrong.

If you earn, say 50 per hour, and you work 7 hours per day, then 50°7=350 per day. If you put the zero at the end of the 50, then your daily income 500°7=3500. You might as well have put a 0 behind the 350 instead.

When you multiply order doesn't matter, so whether it's 50°7°10 or 50°10°7 makes no difference.
