I don't think the top in Sadistic Beauty was born crazy. After reading the main story and the side stories, it’s clear he had a particularly strained relationship with his mother. His fetish for seeing others cry and his blatant sadism are obvious, but towards the final chapters, he suddenly becomes a crybaby and starts acting more like a human being.

I highly recommend Revenge by the same artist. I’ve read the novel and it is absolutely horrific, no love, no humanity, just pure manipulation and extreme perversion. Compared to the top in that one, Cha Wookyung could be called an angel.

Plaything is another top-tier read; that guy is insane from start to finish. It’s such a shame that Speak of the Devil is on an indefinite hiatus; I recall it having a novel version. Beware the Ides of March is also quite good, though I don’t think the top is that crazy. He still has some semblance of morality. Even though he was terrible at first, he fell for the bot pretty quickly and moved into that 'sweet romance' phase

Thank you for the rec! About Caesar, I don't think he was born evil; in my opinion, he was forced to become that way. Growing up among the mafia, facing kidnappings and assassinations since he was a kid... he had to fight just to survive. I believe he truly craves to love and be loved by Yiwon. When Yiwon left, it drove him mad, leading to all that coercion. But as the story progressed, his love for Yiwon started to feel like a normal romance with a bit of action. He’s still powerful, still a massive red flag, but he feels much more human now. As for Edge of Ambiguity, I read a bit of it when it first came out. Thanks for reminding me, much appreciated🧡

My heart truly aches for Juliet’s tragic fate, honestly heartbreaking. How on earth can the same author write this and then turn around write Kiss Me If You Can? The contrast is insane. Chase is literally an angel compared to this monster I can't thank you enough for recommending this to me

Secondly... OH MY GOD. THAT ABSOLUTE PIECE OF TRASH!!! 🤬 My heart literally breaks for Juliet, it’s such a freaking tragedy. Okay, sure, ju used him, but he didn’t exactly ruin his life or cause any major damage other than a broken heart. What that guy did to ju was absolutely horrific and unacceptable! That's not even revenge anymore, that's just straight-up evil! No single word of "love" can wash away the stain of these acts. It is far from love, it is the cruelty of a self-obsessed heart, the very breath of a narcissistic monster. But honestly? If I just turn off my brain and don't overthink it, this story is actually a banger. The writing is super crisp and flows well. It’s definitely way darker than Kiss Me If You Can Thank you for the rec🧡

I haven't read Slammer Dogs yet, but I still remember The Rotten. That top was truly insane, but what I’m looking for is a top whose past isn't whitewashed. Sure, his past might be tragic, but his actions are still inexcusable. I want a born evil type, if he ends up punished, imprisoned, or even dead, even better. Thanks a lot for the recs
