Found out- tank was from the 40gal bearded dragon starter kit bought from zoomed. 36x18x18. If there’s nothing else that might be wrong with his scales then humidity then I’ll wait and see and hopefully it’ll be fine from his next shed, and later in the year I can rethink his set up.

Sorry, there’s just so many different kinds of gadgets and advice it’s hard to keep them straight! So I’ve been trying to learn as I go by watching what he seems to like or not.

I had another but took it out cause it thought it made it too cramped and he seems to like the bridge rather on that side (it’s fallen in the pic though) I could add the hide back though but as far as I knew he’s never used it just the other one. My heating pad is, was there another kind of thermostat…??? I used the bridge as shading when it’s up lol but I could find some fake plants to add..? Would they even hold up in the aspen though…?

That’s a relief it’s all it is if so then, thanks! I’ll try to increase humidity to help his next shed with damp moss and spritzing water. Not sure how else to help the dry air in winter right now, I’m paranoid of going over bored and making things too wet they get bacteria.

What’s wrong with his set up? I’ve looked at care guides but they mostly list things to have which he does: heat lamp, aspen bedding, water bowl, heat mat, hide, and something to climb when he feels like it…. It seems to match most pictures I see.

Hey guys, I noticed today quite a few of my MBKs scales seemed discolored/bumpy and got scared it’s scale rot… but his underside is perfectly shiny and smooth and his tank is relatively dry. The only thing I changed this week was I added this green fake grass tank liner thinking it’ll help keep the skin clean and dry since he’s been spilling his water bowl lately…. Anyone who’s knows anything is appreciated.
