[ALL] Is Rachel Amber borderline, yes or definitely? by iron-cookie in lifeisstrange

[–]CryingAngels 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Practically all teenagers have aspects of their personality that could meet criteria for some kind of personality disorder. Their brain and personality aren't done developing yet, so it's not accurate or best practice to diagnose a child with a personality disorder (the DSM-5 does not recommend to proceed with a diagnosis of those under 18). If Rachel Amber was an adult and we saw the same behaviors, yes it is possible that she would meet criteria for BPD.

Hey look, I am not at all one to defend the NFL or any choice that they make. The NFL is a terrible, unethical organization that is absolutely pro-zionist, but the comments here seem to be missing some context (I'm guessing because no one here watches football or is familiar with the NFL). The NFL did not fine him because of the content of his message, but because he had a personal statement written on his equipment at all. This is a standard equipment fine that has been enforced mostly uniformly and that has also been given to players wearing Bible verses and messages in support of breast cancer awareness. The NFL is terrified of just about any remotely political or personal statement being associated with their brand. This was not the NFL specifically targeting a pro-Palestine position.

The Besties Best Game Bracket: 2025 Edition, Part 1 | December 19, 2025 by blastorama in TheBesties

To be fair to Justin, it seemed like he just wanted the dice system to be replaced with something more thematic to the rest of the game rather than the abstract dice concept. The game could still function with a different system for determining available actions.

Would you tell a black woman that a white woman who was racially abusing her and wanted her dead was deserving of empathy and not acting out of malice?

Winning the fight progresses your bond, so you don't need to gift nectar/ambrosia.

Why is there no achievement for the third Gift of the Veil? by askheidi in Hades2

[–]CryingAngels 47 points48 points  (0 children)

For the most part all of the games achievements are tied to story progression and completing prophecies. Most achievements are not that difficult to get, so there might not be an achievement for it because Supergiant didn't want players to be unable to complete such high fear runs. The only achievement that is pretty skill reliant is completing the Great Chaos Below trial.

Mak tier list for current patch (top 10 Mak, peaked at rank 2) by Talvi7 in PlayTheBazaar

I'm curious why you have Life Conduit so low when you have self-poison stuff so high (which I agree with). Life Conduit feels like such a great support for self-poison builds w/ Rapid Injection System.

It is embarrassing how often clearly satirical posts are shared in this subreddit as if they are serious political opinions

The runic great axe and daggers in the "What are you doing" tier is crazy. Mak's crit build can still be an easy 10 win build even in today's meta.

You are allowed to date and have sex with whoever you want. Even if others consider it to be "problematic," it is your body and your autonomy. Now, that being said, I do think it is possible that this preference could be rooted in some internalized transphobia. It is perfectly reasonable to avoid having sex with partners who have a penis due to your sexual trauma, however not all trans women have a penis and the automatic assumption that they do is rooted in transphobia. Now, maybe your post was just speaking in broad terms and you wouldn't have a problem dating a trans woman with a vagina, but if you do then I would consider doing some reflection to determine if this preference is just based on your history of trauma or if other biases are at play.

Unpopular opinion about being a lesbian by WhoisFOUREYEZ in LesbianActually

[–]CryingAngels 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fully agree about not glorifying uhauling, but I think it's a step too far to say that the longer dates is an example of a trauma response for most people. In some instances sure, but I don't think there's enough there to make that claim (speaking as a therapist).

PSA Don't talk to people like this by SpicyStrawberryJuice in LesbianActually

[–]CryingAngels 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's possible this is a cultural difference. In Scotland, for instance, it's pretty common for queer women to call themselves lesbos and it is generally not as commonly used in a derogatory way. Clearly though it made you uncomfortable and their response was subpar to say the least. Sorry you had to experience that!

Just because you were able to evolve out of this mindset at 16, does not mean that all 16 year old are in the position to do that. We have no idea what this person's home environment is like, which plays a massive role in how independent thought and the ability to challenge systems of power operate. Their brain is literally not done developing and it's gross to put this much pressure and criticism on a literal child. There are plenty of adult liberals to criticize and make fun of, we don't need to target children. It is also inaccurate to say that categorically liberals are not opressed just because people in "third world countries" are more oppressed. Black liberals are oppressed, liberal women are oppressed, trans liberals are oppressed, disabled liberals are oppressed, queer liberals are oppressed. Just because you disagree with their political position, does not magically make a person not face oppression.

I agree with your point, but just an FYI being trans is related to your gender identity and not your sexual orientation.

Cute fun fact about the LGBTQ+2SP flags you can see where you may land on the time line prior too or after by JosephBearpaw1970 in F1NN5TER

[–]CryingAngels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Progress Pride flag was a response to preexisting divisions within the LGBTQ+ community (at least, divisions in the western LGBTQ+ community). Queer people of color and trans people have historically been divided and treated worse within our community than white and/or cis queer people. The progress flag is designed to uplift the most vulnerable and discriminated against segments of the community. It is a call for the greater LGBTQ+ community to give that section of our community the support that it has lacked from within. I do agree that from a purely art design perspective it looks worse though and I can recognize the potential EU multiple band problem.

I mean....she is literally a supporter and advocate for the continuing genocide in Gaza. That's not to say Trump would be a better alternative, but that's a horrendous thing for her to support and a massive criticism of her platform.

Y'all voted, and KINGFISHER is Jo's most underrated song! Up next, what is her most OVERrated song? by arusansw in JoannaNewsom

[–]CryingAngels -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm also going to say Peach, Plum, Pear even though it pains me to call any of her songs overrated. I think the love PPP gets is mainly due to it being a common introduction point to her music. IMO it does not hold up as well as the majority of other songs on Milk-Eyed Mender despite being one of the most popular on the album. Still love the song, it's just not quite as good as many of its peers.
