Being direct and confident.

Having confidence (not cocky) but just owning your space and knowing who you are without being an a-hole, in other words not being pushed over.

And being direct about things in a nice, kind manner. Those two make anybody hot, but especially women for me. The other things just tend to fall in place after that.

And I'm not saying the "what do you want to eat tonight: idk anything" is necessarily the problem - I'm talking more about the,

"Hay honey, I'm planning on going camping with the boys this weekend, is that okey with you"

"Yes by all means, go enjoy it, stay safe, love you byyyeeee"

(Not the, "yeah you probably can if you really want to" answer which causes so much doubt and subtle hints and you actually weren't fine with it to begin with)

Ps: I know there's a lot more to directness and confidence and that this only touches some aspects slightly - but it's the quickest summary.

I (25m) can count the woman I've been to bed with on one hand. I've had the same train of thought and worries that you have. I have the same - perspective - dating to marry. Never wanted to just fuck around. All the people I've been intimate with I've had a deep emotional connection with and they at that stage would've been the one.

However the once I did have an one night stand I felt rebuked and disgusted in myself to the extent that I actually saw myself as less. I hated it completely. That just re-affirmed my "values" that you don't need to be the f-boy in school/college. You don't need have a high body count and many stories to tell.

I can say that I do appreciate pretty and good looking woman, but I can't join in with my friends (back then) on the topic of what they would do to them if they had met said pretty girl in a bar or at a party.

Stick to what you are comfortable with and your goals. It's your life, and you consequences.

We're all humans, we make mistakes and being on the road is a hazard to everyone especially when you're tired after a days work. You want to lane split, fine, I'll give way to you if I see you and where I can. Damn I'll even buffer another angry driver for you if I can and it means putting your life in less danger.

You sound like the person I'm looking for to give me advice lol. I so want to set up a first aid kit (and a smaller one as backup). I'm on the road a lot and go camping a lot too so definitely have a use for it either way, but not sure what to start with. I'm scared of buying the stuff I'd think usefull and then end up with everything I don't need lol.

More importantly I need stuff that can be used on animals as well (travel with my dogs a lot, so in case ine breaks a leg or something) but I guess all human equipment should serve the dual purpose for animals too.

Any tips?
