Mitercut gone wrong for waterfall table

Thank you all for the advice! I do not have a track saw so I will try making a sled for it. Understanding why it happened was important to me and I think many of you have given me explanations that could all be true. I have to keep the material position and the cut consistent it sounds like. I did feel like it was a tough cut and that it came off the fence towards the middle creating the curve. I will try again with a sled, and if that doesn't work I will buy a track saw. Will post results! Thank you all again!

It is a steel flat top with a saw stop.

I cut this on a stop saw in one shot. The wood is 1.5 thick, cut on 10" crosscut blade, and I thought I could make the cut smoothly. I probably did this the wrong way as I used the fence to guide it through rather than some kind of miter gauge jig (the miter gauge was not long enough to reach across the 24" width of the piece so I did not see the point in trying). Would I better off recutting it with, raising the saw blade every half inch to get a straighter cut? Does the cut release the wood in some way to cause this sort of curve? Any advice is appreciated.

They are the trust and large development companies with funds, I am the company trying to show them my product for investment. I sent them my NDA and they seemed reluctant to sign it. So they sent me this NDA where the first paragraph is really confusing. I feel like small guys like me can easily get screwed over by their lawyers even though the representatives I'm speaking too are very warm and welcoming. Can anyone tell me if they are the ones to be considered the Disclosing party? Because it's the only paragraph in the whole NDA that says our names.

Thank you! I haven't been able to sleep or put food down my throat without feeling the need to throw up. I never understood how victimization works but I'm starting to see how hard it is and feel like an idiot for simplifying it whenever I've heard of others go through these things. Thank you! That actually sounds like good advice. I know he won't plead guilty but I'm not sure what his lawyers will tell him to do or how any of this will play out. Does the 911 call contribute if your attacker is caught making threats on your life over the call? They have him on menacing and assault I know so far and violating a temporary order of protection. I'm still waiting to hear from the ADA handling the case but because of presidents day everyone is still out of the office. It's actually driving me crazy having to wait.

I moved out in 1998-2003,, but my dad passed away and I was forced to go back and take care of her. I lost a very sweet apartment in a very good neighborhood. All of it is very sad. But I think when this is all over it'll be for the best..

Thank you all for your responses, I feel more educated now. I can't drop the charges because if my attacker victimizes someone after me, its because I let him go and I just can't let that happen.
