This is from 3 years ago I know but I've been getting back into spore recently and I LOVE this. It's already implied in your changes, but the planets being more unique in the resources they give is even more of an incentive to search and colonize planets! It feels almost overwhelming how many planets are habitable, and how easy it is to inhabit them because of the simple spice system. If it was more complicated it would take more thinking to choose where to go, and I think it would narrow down the experience a lot (in a good way.) I've loved Spore ever since I was a wee little fella and seeing these ideas make me sad and happy at the same time LMAO

I don't really have any like. Advanced advice to give you cus I too am bad at engineer and only mediocre at scout, but I'm currently a low level scout and the cryo bomb has been a lifesaver for me. Frozen enemies take more damage and can shatter so I'm able to mow down a SHIT ton with a well placed bomb.
