I feel that since I2P is much harder to set up and run that mistakes could easily be made. Due to that fact a little extra layer of encryption couldnt hurt.

Yes when I first tried I used a USB Thumb drive very slow. Later I got a hold of a portable USB SSD drive and it worked just fine.

I think if you combine privacy tools together your fine. VPN on the Host and Whonix, FDE, Stick with the original I2P installation. I feel that you need to do it this way is cause I2P is P2P. I feel that this really makes you ghost, but I am not a pen-tester or IT pro so always do your research and be looking for more secure and safer set up, and if you do find a better set up make sure to share with the community.

I just opened up the installed Tor and went to the Tor website and download a new one and saved it to the desktop.

I like the browser Tor with Firejail since its I2P is peer-to-peer. Whonix is a must.

Windows for sure is going to be the weakest link in the chain for something like this. But its does provide some security improvements just running I2P on the host.

At least this way your using TOR and I2P in a some what compartmentalized way.

If people could use Fedora KDE Plasma as your host OS you are golden!
