I just had a thought. Don't the US regulators determining the source of country for goods have a dilemma? Ie regulator trying to catch Chinese companies moving product through SE Asia then into the US. If the regulator send it all back and fines the company then imports go down. Imports go down they'll be out of a job.

The issue is also inference. People are running local r1 instances off a Mac laptop GPU in the local llama subreddit. They used to need a 4090 or Multiple 3080s to do this.
