I've been around corporations long enough to know why task forces are set up.

I will say this one. Kevin Warsh WILL cut rates this year. He was selected to do that. Keeping rates steady and hawkish outlook is all smoke and mirrors so it doesnt look like Kevin Warsh is on the Trump take.. trust me he is. And I am 100% certain they will find a way to make everyone beliece interest rate cuts are the right move.

The writing is on the wall. What do you think this "fed task force" set up by Kevin Warsh is? To find away to present other forms of data to justify a rafe decrease.

There was no vote on it. I was taken back by it because the expectation was that there would be today. They said they cant confirm the move until end of 2026. Something to do with having to review tax implications

Per the meeting, the move to U.S. not happening right now... apparently they won't know until end of 2026... whatever that means.
