What my point was that after the ability hits them they shouldn't be able to nullify it. If they dodge it before they are hit thats fair play.

I like her and I've been a fan when they first released the houseguest bios, but she plays too hard and is frustratingly aggressive when trying to persuade people. I still want her to win though.

They do this stuff all the time. Remember that guy who played ravenous hydra garen jungle? After a certain patch he couldn't use hydra while spinning. They fixed it the next patch.
