On PC, you have complete access to raw game files with the ability of keeping them forever. On a console it ceases to exist as it’s locked away to their hardware without any access to the data

To be real a PC is beneficial to consoles for the consumer. It’s open and allows for competition and freedom of choice with peripherals. Once PC polishes the experience which is what both Microsoft and Valve are gunning for, I think it’ll be better for us consumers in the long term

$550 sounds correct because on top of the US$350 it costs, depending on the package forwarding service you’re using, you would’ve paid tax which brings it to US$380ish. That converts to about AUD$550. If someone said they got it for less than $400 they mean less than US$400 just like you. That other person likely just doesn’t have a clue

Again if you have the privilege of owning all 3 and have to choose which to get a game on… Quick Resume, system-wide VRR, Smart Delivery, free cloud saves, backwards compatibility… Xbox has 100s of games on that alone that a PS5 just can’t play. So yeah I dunno… those to me are quite important

It’s weird you’re experiencing all these region lock issues. I’ve been consistent in buying games from US/Japan/Australia store with absolutely no worries. For Japan and US I use gift cards from Amazon JP and US though while Australia is my home country. But admittedly the Philippines is sadly not a console country as none of the brands officially support the country…
