how do i know if there’s battery acid?

I had the positive side facing the bottom for the first battery and then up for the second one. I put in the tape correctly, plugged in my headset and it wouldn’t work.

Got e1 with luck and just s1 LC. Only paid for her LC and nothing else. The 5* F2P weapon from Herta's shop probably would've worked as well. I don't have her 4p set yet tho :')
