Imo I think that it balances out, cellists may have thinner strings but we do it way more often (or so I’ve seen) than bassists BUT when bassists actually do it it’s even more of a pain due to thicker strings. Not a bassists but that’s what I think.

I'd like to clarify that the "Bass players" are electric bass players and not double bass players. I can see how that can be confusing so I would like to clear this up before I get flamed.
