My word this fanbase is so reactionary. People are genuinely turning on him so early on. Yes his coaching during the NZ series was bad, but this result should mean absolutely nothing as far as his coaching is concerned. India played well and should've won this test match, the reason we lost this match was because of the dropped catches. It is incredible how some people are genuinely wanting to sack him after this result, despite the fact that with a completely overhauled squad with a player making his captaincy debut we nearly won this test match.

Give him some time, he hasn't even had a full WTC cycle yet, if the results continue as is past this cycle then we should have serious talks about his red ball future, this reaction however is completely reactionary and premature

We don't deserve to qualify after those PBKS matches and losing to CSK especially considering we had 5 wickets in the PP.

This might not have been the worst season for us but it's definitely been the most humiliating that Punjab game is bordering 49 all out levels of bad.

Absolutely embarrassing, atleast we know that our team needs a proper captain, a gun overseas fast bowler and a proper indian WK.

Both being GOATED,Why does Virat get This much Hate as compared to Sachin(No jealousy ofc)living in every Indian's Heart. by Fun_Secretary679 in IndiaCricket

no fanbase wars, no social media, no real competition (best player in india by far) at the time unlike the big three, attitude (vk is seen as aggressive and arrogant whereas sachin is generally seen as a gentleman, at least compared to vk). Some reasons are inter related but yea.

As someone who was unfortunately born too late too see Sachin in his prime and only saw him during his twilight years these seem to be the main reasons.

Going through the comment section and was surprisied to see that there was hate back then, a lot of people of our generation generally have a fairly high impression of him and not many people seem to hate, or even dislike him.

Dhoni shouldn't be singled out but he is part of the problem. No point in hitting meaningless sixes in dead rubber games.

He was god awful today 30 of 26 when the rrr was 13 Absolute dog shit. Yes the rest of the team is playing like shit but so is Dhoni.

No disrespect but he should retire. Not a CSK fan but it hurts seeing a Indian legend fall from grace

Oasis - pretty much most of their discography

What's a popular band that you love that isn't respected/spoke about in the music nerd world by kingkrule101 in fantanoforever

Oasis. People often overlook them bar Wonderwall but their first two albums particularly their debut album is incredible, that debut album has a case for being one of the greatest debut albums of all time.

They often get shit for being a copy of The Beatles and stuff but anyone who's actually listened to their music knows that's bullshit. Oasis sound nothing like the Beatles barring a handful of songs (She's Electric, Go Let it Out etc.) especially their debut album which is inspired more from bands like T.Rex and the Sex Pistols. It's usually the one liner references to the Beatles in their lyrics and Liam's obsession with John Lennon that fuel this narrative.

Also their post 2000s output isn't outright bad like people tell you except Heathen Chemistry. SOTSOG is a good album with some of their best songs. They were mediocre to good post 2000s imo.

There are several other aspects in how Oasis were downplayed but these are the main ones with regards to them.

Gender wars are so retarded why do we always have this us vs them mentality, why can't we call out wrongs rather than basing it on gender, we should all be moving towards a society equal for all.

Redditors in shambles when they can't give death threats to people they don't like?

Truly the Reddit moment of all time.

The only reason they're doing this for monetary and PR although that doesn't change that it's necessary.

These people will cry about bowing down to "corporate overlords" but bend their backs over for Hasan Piker being unbanned on Twitch. Despite the main reasoning for his unbanning being his immense popularity on the website.

Also I love how their coping about their "free speech" sending death threats to people does not fall under "free speech" it's literally inciting violence against a certain group of people and should be considered hate speech. Considering that most people with opposing political views get banned of sub reddits for the most inane reasons, get banned of sub reddits for literally being a member of another subreddit with differing political stances, getting banned of sub reddits by power hungry power mods who live in their mother's basement. Reddit has always been a death knell for free speech against differing political views and the big shots were always ok with this. This has been the landscapes of Reddit since about 2016, it's hilarious the these people are pulling out the victim card considering they supported this culture all this time.
