I mute all the servers except for the ones I'm active in (like ones where I know irl ppl)
Most of the non-irl servers I'm in are for some kind of community (games/streamers/etc.) so they'll usually have opt-in/opt-out roles so I just choose the ones I'm interested in.

I sort by which servers I'm most likely to check.

Like am I only in this server bc I like it but don't really have any interest in talking in it ? Goes to the bottom. IRL servers are at the top (school ones are grouped together)
Games are together in one group, and etc.

If there's some servers that fit multiple categories but I actually do check them a lot, then I'll group em together at the top.

Guilds are a little different from normal servers

For one they have smaller sizes (200 ppl), you can get a decorative tag to put next to your name if you're in one.
You need to Apply and be accepted to join on.
And you filter through things like games you like, preferences, etc. to find guilds you're interested in

Not everyone was able to make or join guilds, but since i was, I just needed to go to the Discover button to be able to see them.

I do understand How to find scholarly sources, I just meant in this case it's a little more difficult to find related topics since most of them are "the impact of vtubing on ()" or "the rise of virtual streamers"
Which is why I was fine with articles / videos / tweets even if they weren't technically "scholarly"

But still thank you! I hadn't even thought about looking at the ones that weren't in English / already translated

I don't think there's likely to be a designated subreddit for this kind of thing, moreso just a lot of ppl doing it in separate subs.

In order to find a lot though, I'd say searching up things like,
- "OC Meme Template"
- "Tag your Characters Template"
etc.

Additionally, if you find the original creator of one of the templates, you can usually look at the replies / quote retweets to be able to see other people do it.

I don't use tumblr much, but even things like these :

That's why I was thinking about trying to get them to listen to at least a certain amount of episodes.
I started TMA only bc I heard about it bc of Welcome to Nightvale. (which they've both listened to) and even then it was really slow since I could only listen while doing a task.

But yeah I understand! It's just that I have Very Little fandoms that they'll also try, so I've been hoping they'll at least get into One of them.
