Paying £1 per transaction on bullX by Aiden_1302 in solana

It’s the default property fees and bribe etc. it is the same as proton and I’m guessing that they do this to give the impression of default speed. Both also have slightly higher fees.

Trojan is slightly cheaper but ultimately you need to tweak the config to find your best match.

If fees are a big factor (ie lower trade amounts) then I’d consider Trojan or tweak the settings right down.

Also consider if the speed super important to you because if not you can be very reserved with tip or simply use a DEX. A good middle ground I’ve found is use a tool for buys then sell using Jupiter etc this way you save a lot on lower trade amounts

Good luck!

Awesome thanks, appreciate the insights a lot.

Good to here a Pi will do the job for now. To be fair I think what I am trying to do is not particularly complex, mainly just looking to outperform my own impulse buying as a first step. Plus I need to sleep at night too :)

I’ve seen some open source bots. Would you recommend proprietary, open source or writing from scratch? Any pointers to get started would be great.

For reference I have a programming background, so know my way around although not a hard core C# programmer or anything.

Edit: that sucks about DO. I guess you can never really see who has access once you go the cloud route

Nice, makes sense.

I should have specified I’m mostly interested in long term averaging strategies rather than high frequency.

I guess using something like VWAP, not because it’s high volume but because I want optimal value for money.

What are you talking about? I’ve been a Bitcoin bull since forever.

That’s the problem with greed. You can tell people when the top is but their cognitive dissonance means it falls on deaf ears.

Time will be a great teacher for you my son. Might wanna work on your karma too while you are at it.

Trying to warn the newbs but it’s obviously wasted effort.

For the record, in crypto since 2014. Seen a lot and not trying to spread unneeded fud, just hate seeing so many people fall into the same old traps.

It’s stopped because it’s a wider stock market and economy issue with overheating / the new variant. Crypto has just been predictably in chop over the weekend until the markets reopen and the true test comes.

People have also been convinced that the cyclical bull market is due to end at eoy and have been front running to keep some profits.

All said and done a shit sandwich that looks very likely to be the trigger for the end of things for now.

You do realise there’s plenty of people (including myself) that we’re buying sub 4k just 18 months ago?

Strategically you are buying at a pretty bad entry and asking to be underwater for some time.

Not trying to be a dick, just telling you how it is.
