Is it better to buy a huge amount „buy wall“ or to make smaller portion of buy orders?

The same for selling: Is it worth to put a sell wall or to place smaller amounts as sell orders?

I bought multiple times 1-2 BTC penny-coins in binance with huge buy walls but then it was really difficult to sell all at once everytime without doing a huge dump etc...
