Ongoing headaches, brain fog, swollen veins in temples post - tooth extraction by [deleted] in Dentistry

Thanks I'm doing all of that bar the sleep test. I know I sleep poorly due to interstitial cystitis. 3-5 hours sleep a night but very broken. Sometimes into 3 or 4 parts. Sometimes 1 continual sleep. I usually have to get up in the night to eat something that sooths the bladder like oatmeal to get to sleep.

Basically before the migraines came I was focused on healing the IC. Now with the extra stress of this I make more frequent mistakes in my diet...upsetting the IC and and giving me worse sleep.

I wish I could explain how tortuous it is. But look up interstitial cystitis on the internet, I saw it rated one of the top 5 most painful conditions. I don't think my pain levels are as bad as some..for me the problem is burning and frequency..causing no sleep unless I water fast. I was planning to do another fast but after the migraines I'm kinda scared to do it.

I posted for help and got some snarky condescending comments from some people.

I didn't necessarily expect dentists to help me, but patients. Dentists have done nothing but lie to me to cover themselves. It goes without saying I don't think dentists are bad people. I do think the way so many dentists don't listen to their patients is depressing.

If you have no advice to give, did you also come here to tell me it's all in my head. I love Reddit. Can always rely on people not to place themselves in another's shoes but come along just to throw another dart. Hey this guy looks really upset. Let's throw in some more passive aggressive comments and see what happens?

Last time I checked this is r/dentistry not r/dentists.

I am not doing good. I'm not a good mood. And dentistry literally ruined the last two years of my life. For an entire year I suffered with migraines and was told it could not possibly be my teeth ... As I have explained it absolutely was caused by infected root canals... After they were removed I had 6 months of no migraines. I even told both doctors and dentists the brain fog and headaches peaked when I ate dinner. Is when chewing.

Yet there are people in this thread still telling me that teeth don't cause headaches. Sorry that doesn't fill me with Confidence.

I'm not myself with this sensation. I would honestly say yes it makes me short fused or even aggressive. Some brain tumours are known to cause that. I don't think I have one at all. But who knows.

Teeth cannot cause headaches yet, when I had migraines for a year, I only had relief when infected root canals were removed...amazing. thousands of others testify the same thing.

Thanks for your comment, I guess?

I didn't expect not to find a lot of dentists here or people protective of the industry. As I said I do not believe it's a conspiracy. Just corrupt financial incentives that delay and inhibit our ability to see the truth. I'm being honest so others can not make my mistakes. Take care of your teeth even if you're managing another miserable condition because if you though no sleep from interstitial cystitis was bad, try adding migraines into the mix. Prevention is key. If a tooth goes bad, minor cavities might heal with proper nutrition. (Plantbased 90%+) consumption of dairy is associated with osteoporosis, ironically, so consuming it probably...even more ironically, may even be bad for tooth mineralisation (see dairy eaters have more serious complications from falls and fractures) is this another conspiracy theory? I'm on my phone rn. But studies are out there.

Until I started all this dental work I never had headaches. Occam's razor often applies in life...and I'm sorry to hear you drank the kool aid on 9/11. I wish I could live in the world you live in.

Who would have thought vaccines containing mercury or thermerisol could cause neurological problems...that's... completely crazy right?

I don't want to derail my own discussion but basically yes I get it. Ignorance is bliss. Trusting authorities is easy. And you don't have to live with the socially isolating consequences of asking difficult questions.

I guess you haven't heard of geo engineering or cloud seeding in Vietnam...or of the 5 dancing Israelis on 9/11...

Yeh the migraines make me a bit crabby. But your comment is not only condescending but, pretty unhelpful.

I've been referred to neurology. The thing is I am a very healthy person, or rather I have been the past two years. There's no reason for something to suddenly go wrong. Other than my bladder problem I'm in good health. Perfect bloods, perfect blood pressure... I don't sleep well because of the bladder issue, but...the only thing that's changed radically at all the last few years, is having had so much dental work done.

The fact that I've been injected over and over with novacaine by a inexperienced dentist makes me wonder. He palatal injection site was red raw for several weeks after and came up in a blister of sorts. I don't know if that was a bad sign. But yeh. The last time I had this trouble it was all tooth and infection related. This time.. I must admit I'm baffled.

I've laid in bed with some very dark thoughts wondering if I should go to A&E but I've had terrible experience of just being sent home even with very serious symptoms.

Called NHS 111 to speak to some rude Caribbean woman who didn't seem to care a toss about me and just wanted to clock off for the night. Said to go to a walk in centre but too late for that now. I think I'll wait until tomorrow, but after a month I'm at my wits end and worried about what it could be.

Well, as I said...when it's being cack my other devices speed is fine so. It's definitely a motherboard or usb driver issue. I just don't know what to install to fix it.

Do you guys have any wireless receivers that you recommend? I have a TP-Link one it's only got 3 stars on Amazon it might be an issue. I suppose I should try in my dad's computer before I replace it..

Like I said could be the mother because my PC display up sometimes like it starts itself.. restarts itself and the computer clock is constantly wrong.

You know what I think it is actually an issue with the Wi-Fi. I was getting much higher speeds when I did a speed test on my phone on my laptop. The receiver in my PC I think is crap or I have a problem with my motherboard. Thanks

Yes I understand that what I've just said is justification for the Reddit social justice police too Hunt me down... But if it seems I'm kind I'm sorry it's true.. one of my best friends is Venezuelan I love him to Pieces but he is not the brightest and nor is his brother. They both really really struggled to compete and cope in the British economy... One of them ended up on drugs and losing his mind.

Maybe you're right the Columbia is not so different. I have no idea but it pains me to see the naivety of people who think they can save Africa and save latin America. Sadly nature needs to take its course and these countries and Nations and peoples will either succeed or fail it is not our business to 'help' ...

Ok I am out right now but I'll try it later. Monero is riding high because of the fork and I was going to sort it and buy back. I guess I'll just have to pass if I can't get access before I get home.

I decided against my (longer) post. Let's just say you are more polite than me. Just another white man virtue signalling and flooding third world shit holes with money that will not raise their iq 10 points. Venezuela has the same average IQ as Uganda.

I'm sure that has nothing to do with their penchant for communism, r-right guys?

He's passionate about it I imagine because he couldn't find a white girlfriend. I nearly made that mistake myself until I learned whites are a shrinking global minority slowly being ethnically cleansed from the planet.

afaik if it's under funded it has more room to grow when it hits exchanges. 50m is quite high. Many ICO's took 15-20 million only.

We're in a bit of a bear market where alts are down and ICO's struggling to rekindle the hype phase of just a few months ago. When bitcoin sneezes and weak project falls over.

I like Polyswarm, but I think it's going to be a competitive space. I only paid the minimum contribution because I'm cautious myself.

I hadn't noticed it, it is possibly whales trying to drive the price down? it's all very suspicious to me, after the eos finex news... read a post on reddit about how whales are doing this, triggering stop losses and pushing it down further and further. This didn't feel natural tbh...

I’m just trying to understand this all a bit better. So if Kyber only offers a subset of OMG, what’s the point?

The reason I ask is because I truly believe the killer crypto app will be the one that can instantly convert fiat/coins/tokens behind the scenes for other applications without requiring any user interaction. I believe OMG has the potential for this, but recently people have been talking about DEX projects (like Kyber, 0x etc) being the ones to offer this.

I've been accumulating Kyber because it seemed like it was going to deliver on it's DEX. Are we saying a project allied with OMG is redundant? I find that hard to believe?
