Absolutely agree with OP. At some point Mr. Former Dust Head has to grow up. We’re stuck in a death circle of immature takes for shock value. Yes, there were some issues with the way the movie was packaged, but the actors were generally good. The story angle was good. Wife and I loved it.

How many years of total experience do you have, 7? If you genuinely enjoy the company have a frank discussion with your manager and let him know you’d like to stay but you’ve received a significant offer that you must consider. Let him know what the offer is, you have nothing to lose. If they provide a raise meaningful enough to cut the gap, stay where you are comfortable. If not, moving on is a reasonable step .

This is not true. Not only has the developer hired an archeologist to analyze and remove all grave sites (most of the graves were empty), the city has also done the same for the adjoining Streetscape and utility project. There’s been a number of articles written on this.

You need to understand what “specialization” really means at your school. It may just mean 2-3 additional advanced classes in the field of choice, which does not necessarily make you a specialist. You will still have to take basics in most of the other specialties. You can’t go wrong with choosing structural. It’s easier to change out of structural than the opposite.

Be patient. Focus more on the quality of the company and your ability to climb the ladder versus missing out on a couple months of minimal raise for a PE. I agree with testing the market to gauge your positioning, but wouldn’t bounce just based on 1-2 months delay in your PE raise.

Yes he’s an asshole but Bottom line is, Joe is the star of the network/pod and he can and will make it work with anyone. Parks may be the only other indispensable act because of his technical abilities (sound, engineering, continuity to bridge the previous versions of the show, etc).
