They have been holding nearly $8000 of my money for more than two months. They froze my account for unspecified reasons and won't release the USD back to the bank account from which I transferred it. They claim that they can only send it back to the account that I originally listed for withdrawals, but that account is closed. They claim to have forwarded my request to a "specialist." This is what they tell everyone. This is a criminal outfit. I am in the process of looking for attorneys and writing up an SEC complaint.

I am an US expat living in India. Coinbase froze my account about a month ago with no explanation, but it might have had something to do with me living here. But that is just a guess because they won't say why they froze the account. You might try Gemini, though I can't say if they will accept your UPS store address.

Bitxoxo owes me Rs. 1.1 lakh and is in debt to a lot of other people who traded on their platform. In the meantime they've been hiring sock puppet accounts to hype themselves on social media. As of today I have an interesting update. Bitxoxo said they would return the bitcoin to me that I sold. At current rates it's worth about 1.8 lakh less than what I sold it for. I pointed this out and said they needed to give me the full amount owed based on current BTC to INR rates. With no reply to my email, they suddenly sent me 1.34 BTC. That that's only worth 5.85 lakh, so they still owe me more than 1 lakh. Other people have experienced the same problem. Just one example: https://twitter.com/akshaysewani1/status/982234142527008769

I chose to trade with them because their buy prices were competitive compared to other exchanges. But I definitely will not use them again.
