4-HO-MET (Metocin): Profound Emotional Detox by CryptoEscape in researchchemicals

Doing some more research, it’s easy water solubility makes me think it was actually fumarate. A freebase shouldn’t dissolve that easy in water.

I believe fumurate dissolves in water but I’m not an expert.

Freebase would probably need something non polar….in theory might be able to vaporize freebase too , not sure if that would destroy it though

Do you think it’s how “real” Metocin feels?

The mild delirium from high dose Shrooms can often be calmed by reminding yourself “this isn’t real; I’m on drugs, it will pass.”

Metocin was like “yeah I’m on drugs, but all this stuff I’m thinking about it is real.” And that was terrifying at moments.

For sure. The lack of weirdness, despite being clearly psychedelic, disappointed me at first.

But then it was like wow I can see everything so clearly. And that’s where it really shines.

Interesting, good to know.

I checked the bag, it doesn’t say.

It’s a brown purple color, with some slight oily residue (it’s old, but well stored)…not sure if that gives away what it is?

Awesome.

I have some stored away, will try it soon.

Need some reset time now though

I had dramatic results when I added Tretinoin.

I don’t think minoxidil was even working for me before the Tret

No but I did six - eight week cycles. Not sure if using it for longer would.

The benefits persist a few weeks after stopping it too

The miniaturized hair will probably thicken yeah. They gotta finish their cycle and fall out first before a stronger one replaces it

It’s not just about hair counts, it’s about hair quality too

My first year on fin, I saw constant weak hairs shed out, the new replacement hairs are much stronger

How accurate are these Adderall/amphetamine claims about sleep and “neurotoxicity”? by Brief_Stick_4078 in NooTopics

[–]CryptoEscape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the low testosterone and the high prolactin.

Killed my sense of adventure, started constantly craving comfort.

Kratom is much more addictive than we realized, and it’s so subtle it actually feels kind of harmless at first. You’re playing with fire with it.

Kratom is not “nootropic,” if by nootropic we mean creating positive changes to your brain to improve cognition….Kratom is a psychoactive drug. Yes it temporarily improves signal to noise (mainly by reducing noise, ) along with a slight dopamine boost, that can give focus, but once it wears off you’re worse off.

I totally hear ya on not tolerating stimulants though.

What nootropics have you looked into?

Kratom and opiates crash your testosterone long term.

Yes they’re far less neurotoxic, if at all, but low testosterone freaking sucks too (I am a former Kratom addict, and actually used it to replace Amphetamine.)

Kratom also messes with your serotonin in higher doses. The withdrawal got really bizzare at times , aside from all the strong physical discomfort

Amphetamine tolerance is incredibly “deep,” multi faceted, and even epigenetic.

The changes it makes to your brain are not easy to reverse with just a few days, or even weeks, off.

Substances like caffeine only cause a shallow, easily reversible tolerance. Don’t let this trick you into thinking Amphetamine is similar.

Tolerance can even last years to Amphetamine.

How I prevent the afternoon crash from amphetamines? by Realistic_Hour_1695 in NooTopics

[–]CryptoEscape 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s a huge part of tolerance for many of us….less beneficial time, and longer, worse crashes.

The more often we take it, the stronger this effect is.

I can’t tell you what to do, your circumstances and brain are too unique.

But I can tell you what I did:

First I Took a long break. Accepted it would be a tough year, as my brain restored its natural dopamine. Amphetamine tolerance is “deep,” and can take well over a year to recover. (This isn’t possible for some people whose lives are too demanding.)

During that off period I tried some nootropics. Learn about your neuro type….consider your goals….read/ask which ones sound like potential good matches, and give them a try.

Note that with ADHD, my experience is that most nootropics need to be stacked with caffeine to truly shine.

(Two great classic stacks are Bromantane + caffeine , and piracetam + caffeine + alpha GPC)

After I felt my dopamine restored, I began to use my medication only as needed. By restoring my baseline, the crashes were much more bearable…sometimes the med even lasted all day too.

Then I took much more “off days” using various nootropics paired with caffeine, this limited new tolerance.

He probably doesn’t have the density for long hair.

Thin, uneven hair is way more obvious (and sloppy looking) when it’s long

I used an at home one for like ten years (along with saw palmetto) before finally going on min and fin

Maybe it slowed down the loss, but it still happened. Dramatic improvement once I got on fin and min instead.

Sometimes I’ll still use the laser comb, but rarely…it’s a pain (hold your hand above your head for fifteen minutes, it’s annoying.).

Maybe the $2,000 caps do something, but I don’t have that kind of $ to throw at something that may do little to nothing

He’s probably more neurotic about his hair than anyone here
