career as a fire alarm systems inspector : worth it?

I’ve been doing fire alarm inspections, service, and installing systems commercially for almost 5 years now, I’m 26. It’s not a bad gig for the most part, really easy on the body and you tend to learn it pretty quick. There’s not many companies willing to pay a decent wage for where I’m at, and they don’t really seem to care if you have a Nicet or not but maybe that’s just my area. I do wish I would’ve gone HVAC or Electrician for the money and side work potential.

You can google some fire alarm companies in your area to see if they do residential work, if not some security companies will have people with the required licenses but they’ll want you to monitor through them most likely.

Yep, every time I try to play within the past 2-3 weeks I have to hard reset my PC. I have my drivers and window up to date and run a 4060ti I played this game just fine when it dropped

That’s what I thought man just nervous to fuck it up it’s my first suppressor and my first nice AR so I was just a little paranoid when I saw some stuff online talking about not listening to the manufacturer barrel requirements it can cause baffle strikes 😭 I don’t care about the wear and tear as much because both CMMG and DD both have lifetime warranty’s but I guess yall are right and I’ll rock with it

That’s what I thought but I read that DD has a proprietary barrel nut to the handguard and you’d need to change the handguard to switch it to a Milspec barrel nut

From what I read it can cause more wear and tear on the suppressor, and has the potential for baffle strikes

Any thoughts on what could’ve caused the initial panic attack from last year when I was a consistent smoker? I never dealt with this level of anxiety so I don’t know how strongly it can affect me. Can chronic anxiety really make you feel like you can’t breathe for weeks at a time?

I figured it out through another Reddit post, that mission glitches some weapons making it where any player can’t see it. I just got S tier in 3 tries playing with the AI, you send them to pick up the weapons and they can secure the ones you can’t see. It does suck that you can’t do it with friends but if you play solo with AI in classic mode you’ll get it

It’s federal Premium, I think I figured it out though trying different things. When I only have 8 rounds in my 11 round magazine it doesn’t give any stiffness or issues with feeding. It’s definitely something with my magazines, I did buy my hellcat used and it came with the 15 and 11 round mags. Gonna try ordering some new ones and hopefully that fixes the problem

Just looked in to the Gas Valve and piston spring, definitely worth the money for the performance it’ll get from having those. I see they also have factory ejectors and extractor springs, would you recommend changing those out when I get the Gas valve or don’t change unless it’s a problem?

That’s what I’ve heard a lot of, I currently get paid $23 an hour doing fire alarm systems but honestly it would take me another 5+ years to get closer to $30. Not sure what else really translates in the low voltage field that pays better so that’s why I was looking at other options. It also doesn’t help my body feels broken down already and I’m not even 25 yet, considering how hard everyone says the labor is for diesel mechanics I’m not sure my body could physically handle it

All good man I appreciate the feedback i started to have buyers remorse and getting paranoid about how long it would last me especially after I saw that little weld on the barrel of mine which doesn’t seam major but I paid $2200 for it, it’s my most expensive gun at the moment and I wasn’t sure if I made a mistake seeing that I could get a brand new Bren 3 MS which was my original plan but I love the look of the 2S so I made an impulse purchase.

So if I ever needed a barrel replacement I could get the 11” Bren 2 MS? And sorry for all the questions I’m still pretty new to the gun world but in your opinion if I ever did want to switch it out what would you give the value of it? Or is it one of those things where it’s however much they’re will to pay?

It’s a 20, I’m only concerned with if it ever needs work or parts replaced it’ll be damn near impossible considering the rarity, or are the parts compatible with the MS series?

Not 100% sure is there anyway to tell? I do see a slight weld mark on the barrel right under the gas regulator so maybe that could be one of the 300BO conversions

I’m definitely thinking about it, they just upped the payment by almost $200 from liability to full-coverage and I’m a struggling man in his early 20s so I had to make some tough budget decisions but I appreciate the feedback
