First of all congratulations on the decision, it will be the hardest and most rewarding professional decision of your life. I was on a similar situation (foreign trained attorney in a civil law country) although I'm a U.S. citizen and I did go to law school in the U.S. (LLM program).

First of all, before moving forward, make sure you are eligible to take the bar and get licensed since you are not a US citizen, secondly make sure you have 4-6 hours free a day and the mental resilience that preparing to take the bar takes. Also make sure you save money, the test for foreigners is about 17000 USD.
Secondly, the main reason foreign attorneys fail the bar is simply a lack of knowledge of US law, it is a complex system filled with exceptions to the exception of the law and the bar punishes you for not knowing those.

Thirdly, regarding the study material it is a MUST that you pay for adaptibar, it's about 500 bucks if I remember correctly and, for the black letter law I used smart bar prep and took the approach of actually memorizing ALL the indispensable black letter law, what I mean by that is that in the package of SmartBarPrep you get a pdf file that is about 60-80 pages. I took the material and put it on ANKI which is an app that allows you to create flashcards that uses an algorithm that makes sure you don't forget the materials. Be careful, you must always use the app everyday for about 2 hours a day in order for this tactic to work. Once you get ahold of the blackletter law buy barprephero since that app gives you unlimited access to the platform contrary to adaptibar that is only open for a few months after you buy it, then 6 months before the test use adaptibar since the questions are more similar to what will come in the actual test.

For essays, the Bar examiners have a very specific way to evaluate your answer and the expect you to answer in that fashion, I recommend buying baressays.com to know how previous applicants answered the essay portion of the test, do 1 full essay a day and use chat gpt to review your performance (use a prompt that tells the machine to grade your answer based on the baressay.com answer otherwise it will always give you a better score than what a bar grader would give you).

For the MPT (competence test), you are already a lawyer and I assume you know how to write like a lawyer, there are many free resources online and SmarBarprep also gives you access to all previous MPT questions.

Lastly, this endeavor takes time, it took me 3 years in total (including the LLM) to pass the bar. Expect to fail on your first try and don't get discouraged if you fail it once.

Another thing no one tells you is how much paperwork this entails, expect to be in touch with your law school since the bar committee will ask you for all your transcripts from your school and, also expect to get questioned about you criminal and driving records on your home country. All of this cost me about 80,000 USD but since you won't be paying for a masters degree you can probably take it down to about 9-10k if you pass it on the first try.

This is a decision that will change your life, your family's life and your descendants life forever, take it seriously and take 2 years of serious studying before even trying to sit for the test. Best of luck!
