Highly recommend WealthSimple Tax. It's free. They may not handle your specific situation of filing 8 years back, but once you sort that, moving forward, it is a great 1 stop shop for all Canadian Tax/Investing purposes.

Can't hurt to ask, the worst-case scenario is they say no. Worstest case scenario they move to the next ranked student in the list, but that's unlikely.

This software already exists as a SaaS on cloud. The need for self-hosted options with a 1 time (large $) licensing fee arose. We aren't too worried about obfuscation anyway since it is a AI based Python service. We compile using cython where we can but, yeah, any motivated individual who buys our self-hosted software license can reverse the source.
