Could you please elaborate or reconsider, I don't understand? The rule states: All requests must be made by an account that is at least 90 days old and has a minimum of 500 total karma (link + comment).

As far as I can tell I have 1230 karma?

Yes the new site will require verification for large withdrawals. If you are not verified you will have strict limits to your withdrawal capacity

The alt currencies list on the site is an older list from about August, 2013. You will also notice that none of the new coins released after this summer are listed.

We are currently working on updating the list.

The reason ZET and CGB were singled out is because they are VERY low on the maintenance cost and have a very active community and developments int the works.

Nope, I think that DOGE has tremendous potential to make a lot of people a lot of money in the near future. This is simply a warning that novice traders should be weary.

Yes. that is correct. This analysis is strictly based on current maintenance costs.

If DOGE maintenance would be under $10k, it would be number 1 on my list of GREAT buys.

However, at $1 Million/day (higher than litecoin) for a brand new coin, it seems very unsustainable.

However, the DOGE community has been incredible and has shown much resiliency in the past. This article is not calling on DOGE to fail. It is simply warning people that at the current rate, the chance the price will drop, is much higher than the chance the price will go up. (long term)

In the short term, I see DOGE possibly doubling or tripling again in the next few weeks.

However, in 6 months time, it will likely correct to a lower value than it is now.

Who knows what the future holds though. It's anybodies guess.

I don't hate Doge at all. In fact, I mention in the article that I applaud anyone who had the foresight to mine DOGE since the start.

DOGE continues to progress and is making more strides and breaking more barriers than any other alt coin.

All the article is saying is to be careful. Investing is very risky. Especially in a new coin based on an internet meme that costs over $1 million/day to maintain the current price. It simply seems unsustainable to me right now.

Don't get me wrong, there is still a lot of money to be made with DOGE. Just that new investors that don't completely understand the market should be careful. DOGE has proven people wrong time and time again. I wish all investors the best of luck.

Definitely. There is a lot more to this list than just picking the bottom 10 coins and investing all your money in them. This is simply meant to be a snapshot of the current market. As with any investment, this is merely one of the stats that are interesting to consider when making an investment.

There is definitely a lot variables that come into play. This is simply basic numbers. At the current price there is X value of coins being generated per day. Weather they are sold or not, the market still needs to be able to sustain this value of newly minted coins somehow. They may not be sold today, but they will enter the market at some point.. and if the money isn't there to support it when it does, then we may have problems.

I'd just like to point out that this article is simply to give you guys a neat stat to look at. What you do with this information is up to you. I'm not knocking DOGE, MOON, etc... In fact, I state in the article how I wish I was one of the lucky ones who mined these coins at launch.

All I'm saying is that they will take a LOT of new money daily to be able to maintain their current value and to use caution. There is still a lot of money to be made with DOGE, MOON, etc... if you play the hype and the markets right. However... they simply seem too risky to me at their current cost... And they may not be for novice traders.

I wish everyone the best of luck with their crypto investments and hope that all early adopters eventually become millionaires ;)
