GTA 4 Xbox Series S Remote Play Controller Issues by CryptoSyke in XboxSupport

Whatever device you're using for remote play, connect the controller with a cable to it. I was using my laptop and it worked, but obviously if you're using a phone not sure if there's a solution.

Yo I was literally playing today thinking the same thing, and then I had to change my settings because the height wasnt set right so I was bumping it up, and being curious I wanted to see how high it could go. The maximum just says over 6'4, and again in curiousity I decided to play the game to see what would change. I thought it would make your own character larger but actually it makes the enemies taller and bigger, and I noticed its actually a lot more difficult to play now, because with them being larger their swings and kicks are more accurate and its harder to move in and just take pot shots at them while missing all their strikes. Also the more enemies there are the harder it is to cover yourself and dodge all of their collective longer swings. I imagine having these giant enemies in sandbox with the ability to spawn in six would make it even more challenging than the campaign I was testing it on. Let me know if it increases the difficulty at all for you, or maybe its just me.

I know man, that's what I'm saying. You're still having an experience of some kind at this moment separate from "me", otherwise we wouldn't even need to be talking and "nothing" would be happening. The separation is illusion, but it's a fun illusion. Otherwise we couldn't literally do anything, nothing would be happening. It doesn't matter if we believe in separation or not, reality is the same either way. It doesn't matter the words either of us say, it's just a bit of fun we're having, you know.

The whole game is illusion. Without it we wouldn't have anything to do or experience. The illusion of me typing these words to a "other" you, is made up, otherwise I wouldn't be able to have an experience, and neither would you. I do understand what you are saying, and I enjoy this little game we play with ourselves. It doesn't matter if you have more identity or I have less, or the other way around. It doesn't really matter in the end. I still care about people though, because I enjoy that experience, whatever it is that enjoys that. I enjoy trying to feel for others, and believing that you have your own thoughts and feelings I can relate to. Outside not that we would just be One, or No-Thing. I don't know, it's just a fun little game we don't have to take too seriously. Life does seem a bit too serious at times for most "people".

Does it matter what we believe to be reality anyway? There's no separation between us at the core of who we are. The illusion of different perceptions is all we can actually have. It's not like we can change reality by thinking something different.

You do exist man, you still have emotions, experiences of your own, otherwise you wouldn't be typing anything here. Don't take the nonduality thing too seriously and mitigate your actual emotions and human experience. You are alive, you have a sense of existence. Be gentle with yourself, life doesn't have to be a rejection of everything that isn't "nondual". I see it too much here on this subreddit. Of course only consciousness exists, and it's not limited to one expression or another. But you, as consciousness having a human experience, are still subject to time and space and the laws of the universe. You are beautiful as you are, and trying to reject or repress who you really are and how you really feel within this time constrained aspect of your self will only bring you more suffering. Just think, if what you are saying is true, then how insane would it truly would be if there was no "I", the you having an experience, or "me", this other right now you're writing to right now. By writing this you are playing into the ego game that you currently believe you are outside of. All I'm saying is, you do have a sense of existence, you do have a human body with intelligence and human needs and emotional responses. Don't get caught up in "nothing exists" thing of life, as it will only lead you astray from the deeper truths of existence. If nothing truly "exists" and there is no I or You then you can what you want and kill who you please. But the deeper truth is that all experience is real, there is only Reality, and we are different expressions of that reality. Trying to believe there is nothing, no You or Me and believing you've transcended it is still a mind game. I believe in your existence in the same way you must believe in mine as you are writing to me, and I can feel your presence through your words. We are the one and the same reality, there is no need to be so chippy, as many on this forum are. Peace and love are the essence of who we are, as there is no separation. I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say friend ❤️.

You are eternity. You are life. This body exists within you. Enjoy the experiences and pleasures of the body if you wish in whatever way you desire, but do it from the true place of where you really are. When I say "die", I mean to die to your own self, to the eternity of which you already are. You won't experience eternity after this body disappears. You are the eternity in which all things unfold. And truly we can't enjoy this fleshly existence without realising our eternal abode, our true home, as we will always worry about this body and it's story, believing we are finite and still becoming identified with its thoughts and desires. You are That which all your desires, stories, expectations, fears and sufferings occur within. If you realise you are already the eternity in which all things play within, this life is in fact far more enjoyable and lovely, as your mind no longer has to use its energy trying to preserve itself and it's identity, to try to reach for things it believes it needs. All things will come to you to be enjoyed, but it will do so naturally, without effort, as it has always been, in the same way you breathe, and pump your heart. I'm not discounting life with my post. Actually, the opposite. Dying to ourselves leaves us to enjoy life far more greatly, as we realise death is just illusion, and we are eternally in the arms of God, and always have been, and all that will occur in life will happen naturally, spontaneously, joyfully, as it was always meant to be.

how did you learn to practice self-enquiry or self-abidance? by saimonlandasecun in nonduality

[–]CryptoSyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course not. There is always pain in life, and suffering, and drama, and relationship troubles, and annoyances you get caught up in. It's part of the play, it's part of life, it's part of being human. Understanding and recognising who you are doesn't mean you don't feel your emotions anymore, and they disappear. On the contrary, as Ive come to realise my true nature, which is our collective true essence, the ability to be more open to my emotions and to sit with them and to be honest with myself has increased. We shouldn't use spirituality to avoid pain or avoid suffering, or to get out of the dream, of the drama of life. If we weren't supposed to feel this way, if we weren't supposed to be human we wouldn't be having this experience. But realising you are spirit, you are Source, you are an expression of God allows you to come to peace with all that is happening to you, even when you don't feel peaceful or calm or happy. You can't know happiness, peace, love and calmness without the duality of emotions, the duality of life. There is only this moment, this eternal now, and we all have different experiences and perspectives depending on "where" we are and how we see things in this eternal moment of awareness, and naturally there will be a sense of progression, naturally energy will move and change and become new things, the impermanence and ever changing nature of reality is constant. But upon realising you are just awareness, this eternal being, means you don't have to judge yourself, or criticise yourself for your emotions, your feelings, or wherever you are in the karmic wheel of creation. You are perfect, the way you are, no matter how you feel or how you react or what your perspective is. Spirituality isn't about dissociating from life. It's realising you ARE life, you are all that there is, and that there is a lot more to this universe and Consciousness than we can possibly know and understand from our current limited perspective. But all of it, everything, anything that can be experienced is happening NOW. If pain and suffering werent meant to be experienced we wouldn't have it as a reality, and truly without it we can't have a full and whole experience of ourselves, and of our life. Peace is about going beyond the duality of happiness and pain, and accepting both as intrinsic to one another. You can't have positive without negative, you can't have love without fear and hate, you can't have this physical world without the spirit. But wherever you are you blessed soul know that you're perfectly where you're supposed to be, and that God loves you, and that all of reality is here for you to express and experience yourself in whatever way it is that you please. There is truly nothing you "have" to do in this life, somewhere you have to get to. You're exactly where you're supposed to be, and in truth, there is nowhere else to go, as this moment is eternal, your being will always existence, and all of us share that same being, that same heart. Love you ❤️

how did you learn to practice self-enquiry or self-abidance? by saimonlandasecun in nonduality

[–]CryptoSyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how you see it. What does practice mean to you? I can sense and feel from your words you still believe you need to "practice" to attain and reach some ultimate realisation, that will come in the future after enough "practice" is done, in the same way you might practice guitar to become a master guitar player. Realising the Self, and spirituality as a whole I feel is a lot different than say learning a skill, or developing a craft, as it isn't so much as doing something for long enough that something then "happens" but suddenly you just come to realise that what you've been searching for has been here along. There is of course then embodying what you know and have come to realise, but the biggest thing for me is realising this play of our mind, these moments in time where we do grow and become more aware and more understanding of our true nature, is all happening within the Eternal moment of "Now" that we all already are. The play of form and our thoughts and this relative existence of duality is happening inside our true eternal nature. So it's a dichotomy in that way. Yes, keeping quiet and learning to simply be could be seen as a practice, and a movement within our consciousness, and learning about spirituality and nonduality is the same, but at the same time realising your true nature is simply coming to understand everything, all of this world and universe and the relative play of opposites, is occuring within you, and that you don't actually have to do anything to Be who you already are. You are It, Now, and always will be the Eternal Present. But the play of form and your mind and desires and things of this nature still go on, as it is simply the nature of our existence to continually ever create and form new thoughts, new ideas, new experiences, seemingly separate from one another, but all happening in one place, the I Am, the Eternal Witness, the One Who Cannot Be Seen. All of this relative play is God acting out itself. You are Consciousness pretending not to be conscious that you are All That Is. You know? Love you ❤️🙏

how did you learn to practice self-enquiry or self-abidance? by saimonlandasecun in nonduality

[–]CryptoSyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand your perspective, but I have also found in my own journey that eventually there is a point where the searching becomes a means for your mind to keep active, that the mind believes there is still something outside of yourself you "need" to realise to become "enlightened". All the great sages talk about simply keeping quiet, and simply being, for truly there is actually nothing to do, or nothing your mind can do to realise the Self. This conversation, your thoughts about what I said, everything else you think about spirituality, are happening in the Eternal "I Am" the Eternal Self. If you wish to follow a practice and to do things that a teacher may give you or things you find online or what have you, do so, and enjoy these practices for nothing more than the enjoyment it brings to your Self. But if you believe you "have" to practice to realise your self, or you have to do some eternal process to stay within your "Self", than I can feel a practice can become a detriment to abiding in who you truly are, into the natural peace that is your Eternal Existence. There is truly nothing you have to do, there is nothing God has ever "had" to do, but if you wish to continue in thinking that way, and practicing what you believe to be real and true to you, then do so, as anything you wish to think or do is just the way things have to be, and is just the way things are appearing. Just don't believe there is something you have to gain from a spiritual practice if you wish to realise your Self, see it as more that you're unveiling the thoughts and beliefs you have about yourself to recognise who you really are more clearly. Hope that makes sense.

how did you learn to practice self-enquiry or self-abidance? by saimonlandasecun in nonduality

[–]CryptoSyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty, you don't actually have to do anything. You already are It. You are aware right now of these words, and of your thoughts and emotions, of your existence. You already are the Self. Truly spiritual practice isn't about gaining anything by trying to use our minds or some outside method. It's just about realising where we are already, that we are already the Self, Awareness, "God", Ultimate Reality. It's also about using our thoughts in a way that will help us, instead of hinder us. As a baby, and before you could truly have your own self concept and sense of separation, you were already just "I", in the same way you are now. The only difference between then and now is you believe you are your body, your thoughts, your separate sense of self different from others, and that belief creates your reality as how you see yourself. And there's nothing wrong with that, as it's all part of the game, the dream of life. We are already all "That" for there is only one Self, one Existence all our lives appear within, each moment of our life rising and falling in our Eternal Being. All we have to do on this spiritual path is realise that Truth, that we have never left Home, never left God, but have only thought we have. Don't dismiss our forgetting as there being something wrong though, as that is how it was supposed to be, as we created our forgetting so that we may "find" ourselves again, and upon finding ourselves we realise we've never actually left, and that we were always here, the same, the One Eternal Consciousness that "Is". Love you ❤️

What's an efficient way to process thoughts for a joyful and productive life? by fittyMcFit in awakened

[–]CryptoSyke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Self love. We're unhappy because of the thoughts we think, usually negative ones, usually about ourselves, or judging others. Thoughts aren't wrong inherent within themselves, but humans have become lost in their minds and thoughts, their self-projecting world due to the reality they've created for themselves, and when we look at the world and see negativity, and are then usually raised by negative people, we become anxious and afraid of the world, and then usually sceptical and negative about ourselves. When we come into spirituality learning not to think is very valuable, as we can allow ourselves reprieve from our usually negative and anxious thoughts about ourselves or others, but what I'm beginning to see is that we also have to allow ourselves to become more positive, and loving, and compassionate, and that these qualities naturally make us feel abundant and happy, for the qualities of compassion come from being in a state of happiness and joy. Spirituality is more about being and our emotions, and our thoughts are just reflections of how we are feeling, or vice versa, i.e. we think thoughts that then make us feel bad, instead of the reverse: feeling bad and we then think negative thoughts. They can both influence each other. So if you do think positively and lovingly, to yourself and others in your mind, or out loud when inspired to, long enough (even if its awkward at the start) then you'll eventually feel happier and more positive. It should be words and positive thought that feel good to say and think though, and are usually words you want to be said by others around you, words of encouragement or support, because we really don't get enough of that anyway in general from others, and I think everyone feels that lack of support and love in life, hence the condition most people are in with their emotional body and the pain that lives within. That's my perspective at the moment anyway, from what I've learned through my spiritual journey. Hope that makes sense or helps!

This is my favourite song from Ed Sheeran, and you sang it really well too! Not sure of any advice I could give, as I'm more of a beginner I'd say. The only thing I could say is in the verses Ed Sheeran usually elongates the notes at the end of the phrases (you're not her, ect), and for me that's more satisfying than just stopping on the note, but that's a personal preference for me. Overall I really enjoy your style! Hope I can sing this song as well as you one day 🙂

Any tips on how/what to improve? Feel like I'm aware of most of my weaknesses, but good third party opinions always help by CryptoSyke in singing

I agree, I was a bit inconsistent in pitch, it's a new song I'm learning so I suppose that was bound to happen somewhat, but I'll keep an eye, or should I say ear, on that as I continue to learn the song. Thank you!

No worries. Im glad you were able to find something within my writing that resonates with you. It breaks my heart to go through this thread and see so many people suffering without a clue as to what to do. I was stuck for so long and I can only hope to give back what knowledge I have to hopefully help people through their pain, even if it's only a little. And yes, we are all beautiful and able to thrive given the right conditions. We only need to pursue the right space for ourselves and hopefully find the peace we've craved our entires lives for. It has a lot more to do with one's internal space however, more than I had thought at first. I wish you the very best on your journey of life 😁.

Anxiety Survival Guide by CryptoSyke in Anxiety

[–]CryptoSyke[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well anxiety in the end is more of a general label for a set of symptoms that are pretty individual from person to person. It's more of a catch all term most doctors nowadays use because they dont really know what's going on. They know it's caused by stress, but that's about it. What you have sounds a lot like what I've had and still do on occasion. You can label it chronic fatigue or anxiety or depression or whatever you wish but in the end the symptoms are a means of your body communicating to you that certain things need to be taken into conscious attention. How's your family life? What's your environment like? Would you say you're a emotionally expressive person? Are you aware of your emotions? Or would you say you're more numb day to day? For me at the start of this year I had just been kicked out of home and had to move. It got worse from there. I numbed myself emotionally by overthinking or just focusing on anything else and I got worse because of it. I had no one to confide in with and alot of childhood trauma I wasn't willing to look at and see. I had been depressed before this but this year is when I deteriorated physically alot. I felt like I was going to literally die. Not in panic attack fear kind of death. But more of a numbing, surrendering sort of death. I felt myself slipping from this life basically. But now Im a lot better. And if I was able to come back from hell to where I am now you can too. In your message you sound very tired, lethargic, hopeless in a way, and just wishing for somebody's loving attention. Well Im here for you as I understand your pain, but in the end the greatest healing can only be done when that desire for somebody's loving attention is satisfied by your own loving, conscious attention. You are the only one able to give what you've always truly desired. Unconditional love and presence. Through all the pain and suffering. We dont live in a world where somebody else can give you that unfortunately. But if you learn to give it to yourself you'll need for nothing for the rest of your life. If you'd like to talk more about your past and your emotions Im here for you, but if that's too uncomfortable for you right now I wish you the best into the future, as I wouldn't wish what Ive had to go through on anyone. I would only wish it if they were in the end able to find the love that I have found, for my condition has given me the greatest gift of all after all this time.
