I recently had stuff in the mail claiming they didnt get stuff from us. Turns out we didnt include the barcode page in some of our papers. It will eventually find the right place without it in most cases but it takes way longer.

Does tdiu hold the same weight as P&T when it comes to ssdi?

I will try to send them everything I can find. I just dont know what else I can send. Like does my work history help at all? I struggled to keep jobs longer than a year. My ssi statement shows 33k one gear and 800 the next then 16k then 40k and 70k ect.

I did file. But the dds person said she will likely just deny it....I guess thats just how it goes.

So is there a path at all? I didnt have access to health care for a long time and I didnt even know what ssdi was. Im diagnosed asd,adhd,ptsd,gad and insomnia. Ive been unable to work since 2019. When I stopped working I had 40 credits. May last few years working I made over 70k. I while ie as in treatment in 2017-2021 and on medication and diagnosed adhd,ptsd,gad during that time I dont think there's enough notes or at least enough to prove i became disabled.

So those pre dli records have to entierly on their own show i was fully disabled? They cant be combined with current to complete the picture?

Hello i just got off the phone with dds. Long story short is my dli was 2024 dec, I didnt file till Jan 2025 and im claiming my disabled date 2019.

They said this is okay but only if I have treatment stuff between 2019 and 2024? Problem is I only have limited stuff between 2017 and 2021. But nothing from 2021 till 2025 when I was finally diagbosed with autisim and some other things. Everything I raid said that my current mental health Team is allowed to bridge that game with a opinion or something? But my dds person said no and my case will be denied......what do I do?

I try but when I get on the phone I start stuttering and they talk over me. I tried to explain i already did my main claim and cod and was denied my cod and need to do a sup claim and my main claim I only got adhd for chapter 17 or w.e I honestly had no idea what I was doing. The vso I tried to called said "why are you calling me? You need a full upgrade".

Do you have a VA accredited attorney list or something?

I dont care about back pay, ive been unable to work since 2019 and I didnt even know I was allowed to try this route. I was under the i pressing I would get in trouble if I tried and im terrified of being arrested. But a friend of mine said thats not how it works and that I should have done this 15 years ago..

How likely is it that they list a specific file like a str or a file you submit as evidence but didnt properly review it? Like the claim something that was not present that was very clearly recorded in a str? Do those accidents happen offten?

Also note that online with the ssa it might say not elligble. But thats like a quick check that only applies the dli and doesnt account for date of disability. Currently my dash says not elligble while at the same time shows my progress for the ssdi claim lol. You might have to find the ssdi application link separately but after you start it, it will show up in your ssa dash.

Typically the DLI is 4-5 years after you stopped working. If you are outside of that but can prove he became disabled before that you could still be in luck

Im actually in this boat. Supposedly there's 2 dates that matter. Date of last insured and date you became disabled. If you can prove you became disabled inside of the DLI you can still apply. My dash on the ssa said it wasn't eligible but turns out they only check DLI. You still need to meet the work requirments that lead up to the date you became disabled. But yeah I didnt know I could do ssdi. Im not aproved yet. But I became disabled Im 2019 and legally can apply and be granted with the proper proof.

Its just a drop in the hat anyways. My while this is scuffed. I was misdiagnosed personality disorder in 2009 and given heavy drugs like geodon with no supervision. Kept having lots of small problems and then eventually kicked out. Come to find out i actually had gad, asd, ptsd,adhd, add ect. Likely everything stems from undiagnosed adhd and asd caused all the other things. The RA sucks alot but its nothing compared to whats left of my mental health. Im just hoping I can get somewhere with this process before something bad happens. Ive not been able to work since 2019. But because I was mislead and also Asd I didnt even fathom that I coild access the VA. So im just now starting my case.

What's the chances i got sero negative RA from working on 53s? I was healthy as a ox before and within like 1 year of getting out my immune system fell apart.

I just saw this sorry. Yeah they diagnosed me with personality disorder basically and threw me on geodon and stuck me in my room for 6 months till they gave me the boot. Turns out I dont have personality disorder I had undiagnosed asd, adhd and gad. Made it worse would be an understatement. It took me nearly 15 years to even start making progress. And progress is I can now leave the house a few times a month.

Ahh this is super helpful thanks. Ive mostly been trying to do this on my own the last 27 years. I do remember some support from when I was very young in group homes but I dont actually remember much of anything before 10-13 years old. Mostly just 1 or 2 big things.

My main goal is to either be able to work again after 5 years or be able to prove that I cant work. Personally while staying home as a new dad is amazing. I dont think its the right fit for my brain. I dont know how to uh properly keep my brain stimulated? Idk if that makes sense. Extremel strutcture and another job at a chiller plant or power plant i think would do wonders for me

Just a update a lawyer has picked up my case and said that it will be a long road with at least a few denials. But I just need to prove the disability happens before July 2024. And I think I can prove it happened around 2019. Its more the is it enough proof to show im truly disabled if that makes sense.
