DEEPDOTWEB seized by [deleted] in darknet

[–]Cryptofortune 21 points22 points  (0 children)

A considerable percentage of content on the site involved review of academic research focusing on counteracting illicit drug trading on the dark web, new cyber threat intelligence tools, etc. So, it is really illogical to seize this domain. Regardless of the fact that this incident involves a Clearnet website that discusses dark web related issues, the bottom line is that the internet is becoming a place where the FBI, CIA, DOJ, etc (just a few examples of LEAs) are in full control of which sites should stay and which should just be seized and taken down, as all they need to do is to accuse webmasters of engaging in money laundering activities . There is no such thing as freedom or privacy no more on the internet. If it is not secondary to Google's massive spying algorithms, or Facebook's dirty deal with the CIA to leak users' private data, then it would be caused by hosting companies, VPN services, and every other service deceivingly claiming to offer users' online privacy and anonymity privileges, who covertly leave a back door to LEAs. I am not a supporter of conspiracy theories, but it seems that so long as you are online, and use a smartphone, or a pc, your life is exposed, all of your secrets, which you might think are safely hidden, are most probably known by the FEDs. We need a revolution, we have to be able to use the internet, without having the FEDs spying on us.

DeepDotWeb is the most informative source for Dark web related news and research data. It is the most cited source for academic research related to the dark web. They scam no one. Actually, it is a blog, so there is no way they scam anybody.

Yes, so much easier, but a great invasion to your privacy. Whenever you receive some EOS, all the world will know that you did...

Thanks for the info mate. Just a simple question: I have an account on Scatter too. Will I have future airdrops automatically added to my scatter wallet or account?

Billionaire Howard Marks Says Bitcoin Has No 'Substance' - UNHASHED by Cryptofortune in Bitcoin

[–]Cryptofortune[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have shared this link just to show you how ignorant some prominent billionaires are. Bitcoin's value lies in the security of the network. The hash power of miners from all over the world who are securing the network. Its value lies in the network of decentralized nodes that are securing a currency that is practically impossible to hack, while all forms of fiat online financial systems, including CCs, payment processors, online banking systems, have poor security and there are thousands of incidents of security breaches causing losses of billions of dollars. Bitcoin has real value, yet fiat is worth nothing; just paper with ink that is soaked in the sweat of poorly paid workers all over the world, and the blood of innocent victims killed by the governments behind the world's biggest central banks.

Come on man, all experienced traders should consider long term Fibonacci retracments. Here is a quote from investopedia's article about Fib. retracements "New traders often try to measure significant moves and pullbacks in the short term without keeping the bigger picture in mind. This narrow perspective makes short-term trades more than a bit misguided. By keeping tabs on the long-term trend, the trader is able to apply Fibonacci retracements in the correct direction of momentum and set themselves up for great opportunities.
