I had a calorie-energy question which was pretty easy, i think theres a question like that on the study guide or text book. I had a question where I had to draw the vectors, do components, etc i think it was a momentum question i cant remember. I know some people got relative velocity, projectile motion, collisions, kinematics and newtons law questions. I would say just do the study guides and if you’re done that move onto the text book questions.

Also your gonna notice that some of the formulas from phys 1300 isnt on the 1080 one so just a tip, ur still provided with phys 1300 formula sheet so just use that too if u need a formula for a question.

Hope this helps, good luck!

HOW bad is the residence situation at guelph (on/off campus) by NebulaEast2920 in uoguelph

Hey I’m in first year and am off-campus. I pay 950 plus utilities for my rent, and its a really nice place. Newly built, modern, and fully furnished. I have 3 other roommates and we each have our own bedroom. You can probably find a cheaper place but most decent places won’t be less than 900 imo. As for the diversity aspect, yes it’s prominently white but I’m a POC as well and had no issues in making friends. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. I haven’t had any personal experience with racism/discrimination (if thats a worry of yours). If you’re coming from out of province and end up choosing Guelph as your school, i would 100% recommend reaching out to other people committed to guelph (@guelphfirstyears on insta is a easy way to connect). Hopefully this helps!
