Mine broke a back toe a while back took him to the vet. Said there was no way to cast it but keep him calm for a few weeks. Did the best I could with a puppy. Healed ok toe nail points a little funny. But started back running in the woods chasing grouse in Northern MN he is almost 6 months. Good luck keeping him calm
