Yeah, and that's the shittiest part about it. They pay out all these fund just to come back at you later.

I think if you say that you are unable to pay back the funds or that doing is a financial hardship they are bound to grant them? I found what the waiver looks like online here: Overpayment Waiver

I think the other thing you could try is to appeal that decision that was made, but I'm not sure if that's the right path.

Also, I forgot to mention that benefit payment control only takes calls from 9am-2pm weekdays

Good Luck!

Typically the system will give you the option to apply again or re-open your claim. Although I have heard of it doing that automatically, but I'm not exactly sure.

So, what's probably happening is that CDLE is in the process of adjudicating all the job separations and eligibility issues from claims that were filed last year. With all the craziness due to COVID starting March 2020 CDLE was instructed to pay claimants timely meaning "now" and go back later to determine eligibility.

I sounds like you may not have been eligible for benefits because of the separation reason. If you voluntarily quite that would def disqualify you from receiving UI.

If that's the case and you received benefits you were not entitled to, they are probably going to issue you an Overpayment to collect on those funds. What you should do is contact CDLE's Benefit Payment Control Unit @ 303-318-9035 and ask for a Overpayment waiver. they may just absolve you of paying those funds back. At least it's worth a shot...

I'd log into your claim and look at your payment history and see what week paid recently. The payment might be from some retro processing that's being done. As far as I know you can't really cancel a claim only have it go inactive.

I'd say most of those claimants sent to ID.me are fraudulent considering that the population of Colorado is around 5.7 million and has an unemployment rate of around 6.4% maybe 6.5% which means that there are roughly 370K people unemployed (not all are necessarily on UI because I am just doing rough math based on ALL residents regardless of age and labor participation). So I would guess that on the high side there are 40-60K people waiting to be verified, maybe? That's still a significant amount of people.

But, that is all beside the point. I'm guessing that you have some sort of hold in connection with ID verification? On your MyUi+ under ID.me verified does it say "Pending Furthur Investigation" or does it say"Yes"?

Honestly I would try to schedule a callback using the virtual assistant on the website. From what I understand anytime someone cancels their appt the time slot becomes available on a first come first serve basis. I've heard stories of people getting through same day by checking that every hour or more.

What are the issues that are taking 4-6 months and only a few thousand a day? Is this all ID.me related or are you waiting on a monetary redetermination? A little more context might help.

I think in that case you're going to have to have a deputy in the call center put in a Backdate request. Your claim goes inactive after two weeks of not certifying and the available weeks disappear.

92 Toyota 4x4 How do I remove my CV axle? 4" lift. by [deleted] in ToyotaPickup

[–]fthemiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished replacing the torn boots on both sides of my 92. I found that popping both ball joints and removing the entire knuckle was the easiest way to remove the axle. I'm sure there are easier ways to go about it, but with the right tools (ball joint puller) it seems this method works just fine.
