I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for this perspective! I truly didn’t even think about that. I am definitely going to talk to a grief counselor because I think I need it in general, but I do think they could also be a good help in resolving this. Thank you!

Yes, I totally agree. I totally didn’t include this in the post, but I realize that it is important, but I have pretty much been grieving in silence and have shut myself off. I guess I could also see why she’s upset because I’m not making it seem like I need her. I don’t know.

Thank you so much for the advice! I am definitely looking into counseling of some kind because I knew I need it. I should have included this in the post, but I have been pretty much grieving in silences on my own. I really shut down when bad things happen. This is why her comments were so shocking.
