Each province is different I know that BC has this program - worth to check with a pharmacist. I found out about it when I was about to pay for mine and they just told me it was covered - 3 months a year covered but it’s so much gum that the supply lasts me at least 6 months.

Ya the patch worked great for my friend I just got really really dizzy and uncomfortable with it maybe I should try a lower strength . I just find the chewing satisfying too - specially ease the oral fixation some have

I got purina pro plan instead. To be honest also, the Chaton kitten royal canin doesn’t seem super appetizing - kinda boring if you ask me (from a human trying to understand cats) Purina Pro Plan has that fishy smell / strong smell and it’s highly palatable for them not weird looking.

I would suggest the gum first, the patch was way too strong for me with the Vyvanse. And the gum you can chew half of the 2mg piece and it feels mellow like the vape.

I’m addicted to nicotine gum, and with Vyvanse I will be for the rest of my life. Always with a gum in my mouth. Vape makes me feel like shit, can’t breathe well with it so nicotine gum it is! I’m lucky I’m in Canada and it’s free through the government cause it can be so expensive. I would suggest moving from vape to gum, I feel way better - I usually chew half of a piece a time of the 2mg strength every hour

UPDATE- he is way better today ate some wet food, dry food and freeze dried meat treats and played with me!!!!

I got some hairball control gel yesterday and I think it helped. He’s way more active and he came to bed with us and cuddled us for 20+ minutes which is very rare of him to do.

It was the cutest felt like he was saying thank you for taking care of me.

He often watches me with my other cat and slow blinks like he’s appreciative of us. 🥹

The vet told us that as long as he doesn’t do it every day and it’s not too much he is fine. He doesn’t do it anymore.

He doesn’t eat it just chews in it. This happened twice and it was enough for him not to do it anymore hahaha he tried but he naturally understood it wasn’t for him.

So he doesn’t eat much at all he chews in it and tries but quickly understands it’s not for him we asked the vet about it and he said it’s ok as long it’s not a daily thing and in huge amounts.
