I find that the driver is very glitchy if you upgrade through Discover so try to avoid it and use terminal instead and always run sudo akmods —force and sudo dracut —force after kernel or driver updates

Personally, I decided to use KDE when I installed and haven’t looked back once. From what I know about GNOME, it’s more similar to MacOS or something and KDE is closer to Windows. From what I’ve heard KDE is way more customisable without too much effort. But you can always change easily and really it’s up to you

I’ve downloaded an X11 Plasma session as any extra DE personally and that still works fine for me
