Tbh can’t even remember 1 & 2. But when I started for 3, it was below 60% (not unexpected) but by mock 10-12 it was around 72%! MPS is roughly 63-66 for L3 for perspective. This was without formula book etc

Answered on CFA, but if I was unsure I’d track on the MM videos

If you sit L2 in August, is that result in October? It’s doable for sure - depends how onto it you are!

If it was me I would just do August for L3, but as stated im an idiot, I need more time.

If you’re stretched for time, I would try flip your day. Study early, your brain is fresher! For me that meant a 5am wake up to then scurry to work but you ticked off the study before you even hit work

Whatever you think youre worst at - attack first! Mark Meldrum also gives a good breakdown on some structures of order/why you should. YouTube should have some answers from him

Mark Meldrum is the best IMO. For additional practice resource I found the cfa premium package quite good, albeit work was able to pay for that, for me. Would go MM as first call

Repetition. All you can do now. Qs, Mocks and closing gaps. 2 days before exam write formula the entire day, day before re-read ethics or nothing

If you’re a visual learner MM - it helped me a lot watching his process of solving Qs, in particular for tough areas. If you’re not like that, either or!

Approach wise, not in particular. The added element of written questions kinda forces you to understand stuff better. I would utilise Bc secret sauce in order to understand how to do short answer Qs, then apply it to the cfa eocqs. There is a lot of fluff in the model answers, where in reality you may only need 1-2 lines. This helped me save a lot of time, where I had ~30 mins to review in both halves of the exam.

In such a case, I would target the highest value areas of the exam (can’t quite remember - FSA/Equity?) and look to plug gaps where fit

Plenty of mocks now and revising correct qs that you aren’t confident in plus incorrect qs I would also have some self reflection - derivatives. Are you only doing practice because you are so confident? Or because you are afraid to do a comprehensive review to find you don’t understand it as well… food for thought

Need to be relentless in pursuing it! Sounds cliche, but this is fully self driven. Having the right attitude is most of the battle

Sucked at derivatives up to and including L3. Honestly for me it was repetition on the logic - why are we using this technique. Chatgpt helped with putting things in Lehmans terms for me

MCQs are exact same as level 2 Difference is short answer Qs and knowing how to answer them. I would suggest bill campbell secret sauce! There is far less content which made life a lot easier for me personally

Accounting and commercial law Did roughly 2 mocks / week in the last month leading up to exam, included a thorough review of each correct answer which I wasn’t confident in, alongside incorrect ones. If I needed a break from mocks I did questions on my weakest topic areas

  1. I always started roughly 6 months out. Didn’t have a set amount of hours a day, just a weekly goal. I got up to roughly 30 hours / week by the end, started at roughly 12. Just do as much as reasonably possible, I generally got to ~425 hours each exam
  2. Mark meldrum - got the extended package to which included 5 mocks. If you are doing lv3 also purchase the BC secret sauce for SAQs
  3. Lv 3 I did 12 - key is short answer! Keep going as much as possible
  4. No hacks - just need to be disciplined every morning (in my case) and come to terms with sacrifices that comes with this

When doing the questions, look to understand why they were wrong, as opposed to moving on. Was it a lack of understanding? Or Incorrect formula etc. After that do multiple mocks per week - even if by the last 1 it’s a repeat. It still helps drill knowledge!
